Everything in the entire Universe is made up of just 118 chemical elements - all listed together in a grid called the Period Table. Delve inside this book to meet each one. Review: Best book for young curious mind - My 7 year old son has developed an interest in all things science, we of course are delighted. Now the challenge is to keep him interested and engaged. He heard about periodic table from a YouTube science channel, and asked to learn more about it. Knowing my son, and recalling how incredibly dull the lessons regarding periodic table was, I search the web for something more interesting. This is it! Itโs a fun and engaging book, he loves it the moment we handed it to him. Itโs a great and clever book, I mean had I had this book when I was in school, I might not hate chemistry as much. Itโs really making the boring old periodic table fun with all the fun facts, color coding, shapes, and obviously the flaps. Now my 7 year old is dishing out facts about protons electrons and whatโs the lightest elements, etc etc Thatโs a pretty awesome feeling. There should be more of this sort of books. Review: By GROUPS - I love that this teaches the elements by their GROUPS because where elements lie on the periodic table reveals so much about their properties and reactivity. The book does not stay focused on the table except on the first pages. The rest of the pages focus on the elements and the group they belong to. The colors of the element's symbol boxes reflect their groups position on the periodic table SO you can always reference back to the first pages to see where they are on the period table. I think this a fabulous book!

Very good company to deal with
I LOVE this book - I purchased it for a friend (chemist) having a baby. The content of the book was great. The only issue is the mail person bent the book in half to fit it in my mail box. I contacted both the company and my post office. The company was great after emailing and sending pictures. They are sending a replacement. The post office was awful-they told me you ordered it from amazon-just tell them it arrived damaged and they will replace it.

Elements made fun
I bought this book for my 6 year old twin grandchildren. First impression was that it was very busy looking, but as we worked from page to page it became evident that it was very well organized. The kids loved having it read to them and lifting the flaps. They liked the way the elements are depicted as individuals and the families of elements are color coded. It held the attention of both children.

SO FUN!
This book is so fun and helps to connect the table and elements! It's great for all ages, it makes you want to get it right and helps show you ways to make it easier to remember. I totally recommend it. It came fast and well protected.

A must for any kid that wants to know more about science
I bought this book for my 8 year old son who is constantly asking what and how. We sat down and this book kept both of us occupied for a while, and we didnโt even get to make it all the way through. Itโs the first book weโve owned that was interactive for young kids but so informative. My favorite thing of this book was the conversation it sparked between my son and i. I can see him loving this book for a long long time.

This makes learning the Periodic Table fun!
My 10 year old is obsessed with this book. Yes, my non-reading child is calling it "the best book ever!!" Fun, bright illustrations. Interesting and engaging information. Fun lift the flap style. Heavy duty cardboard pages. But don't let this book fool you... It's not your every day boardbook. It's definitely intended for mid to older elementary kids. But could be a helpful resource/learning tool for someone even older! Want to make learning chemistry fun?? Get this book! There is a ton to learn from it - even for a big kid like me!!

Very nice book!
Solid pages with flaps. Great for teaching young kids about chemistry! My son is a chemistry professor and is expecting his first child. I thought this would be right up his alley and I can see him reading this book to his baby!

Fun, very well made introduction to the periodic table
It is of excellent quality, including lots of interesting and humorous facts about the elements of the periodic table, hidden under various flaps. The elements are displayed as characters with squared bodies, identified with their names, and coloured according to their placement in the table. While also appealing to a much older audience, my 5-year old granddaughter, for whom it was purchased, enjoys the book immensely.
