It will literally push ANY button or combination of, as needed, so yes, Powerpoint features too. I've used it for controlling Powerpoint presentations a few times. Though, as Powerpoint has very few buttons needed, a smaller X-Keys model may be more useful for that. The full 24 keys has more use in things like OBS Studio, for example.

You can pretty much set any key on the XK-24 to do any keypress, or combination of keypresses as needed. There's a programming tool which I find to be rather straightforward. There is a separate function for pushing the key down, and letting it back up, ie. "push down ctrl, push down a, release a, release ctrl".

Q: Will this work on a macbook-pro? sales title says mac/pc dvd but spec only mentions windows.

If you use it in hardware mode, it will work on any device that accepts a USB keyboard, including a Macbook pro. However, initially programming it may require a Windows system.

Q: I'm looking for a keyboard for use in a radio station - are the keys soft / silent when pressed?

This is very quiet if pressed normally. As far as I am aware it uses cherry red MX switches below each key. Be aware though this is not an ordinary keyboard, it is a programmable macro keyboard.
