It works pretty good for a decently cheap video monitor. It has night and regular vision. You can change sensitivity and volume. You can't remotely pan it.The interface for the menus and controls could be greatly improved. It's not always intuitive or easy to figure out how to get to the menus and change them. We charge it every night and it hasn't been problematic with that regard. When speaking through it, it can kind of cut off your last words.Also annoying: it makes music whenever you turn it on, and you can't turn it off. Kind of stupid if you're trying to turn it on in a room where someone else is already sleeping. That's my major complaint. Why would they think someone would want to hear that every time it's turned on 🙄.Anyways, it does it's job and I'm glad we have it and didn't spend a fortune.

I am pretty disappointed in this monitor although I'm keeping it hence the 3 stars. The battery life is a joke. It lasts for 30 min or so. The sound cuts in and out which isnt the best. BUT it has a great picture even in night vision mode and I like that it doesn't run on my wifi. I suppose I would need to pay A LOT more to get the other features. I use it to watch two 4 year old and a 6 year old bounce around their room after I put them to bed 🙄 for that purpose it's ok. The 2 way voice control is something else I wanted. Being able to hear them and them to hear me. But the sound quality sucks. Would be great to tell them to go back to bed without it cutting out like I'm a voice from the great beyond...

I've used a few expensive WiFi monitors that connect to your smart phone and they just constantly had connection issues. This monitor is relatively inexpensive and the video and sound never cut out. It also has a feature that brings up the picture and sound when your baby moves or makes sound, which helps the battery life last for a long time. I gave the picture quality 4 stars because it's a little grainy but it's exactly what you need and I don't see why you would pay for more. Highly recommend this monitor.

I LOVE this monitor. I bought the same one, but different brand name 2 years ago. It is the best. But I dropped the receiver while the charger was plugged in & it broke the charging port. I found this one & I knew I would love it. It is improved by having a super long battery life. I love the VOX function that helps the battery last. The picture is great, the camera range is perfect. I can talk to my child & see the room temp. I have tried several others & they were all immediately returned. This one is the best.UPDATE: their warranty & customer service is great. After close to a year my receiver started acting up. Once contacted, they quickly sent out a replacement.

I purchased this monitor for my mom who babysits during the week. I didn't want to purchase another $150+ monitor like the one I have for my house, so I thought I would give this one a shot. I tried it out and I was impressed with the quality of the image. There is a slight lag, but it's not like you will be staring at the screen the entire time.Sound works great as well and the music feature is kind of neat.This monitor has all of the qualities parents look for in a monitor - room temperature, volume adjustment, night vision, along with date and time because I do have to admit...after becoming a mommy, I never know what day or time it is anymore.Happy with my purchase!

I used my monitor for about a week and the sound stopped working. I contacted customer service and they shipped me a new one and I had it by the end of the week. For the monitor itself, it works well for the money. I have a Summers Infant monitor that I prefer.

Works great-especially for the price range! We had a similarly priced monitor previously and it stopped holding charge even while on the charger-replaced it with this one. The picture is very decent, and the ability to play music with the touch of a button when the baby wakes up fussing has been great. My only complaint is there is no way to dim the screen and so I have to angle it away from me at night when the room It’s dark, but that is very small of a detail to get a monitor that works so well for a great price.

I love the picture quality and the peace of mind that comes with this monitor. I held out until 8 months, but now with baby moving allover the place, I need to be able to check in on her and still get some sleep. I feel like this monitor is a bit difficult to program and navigate, but at $59 it’s more than worth it.

I am in love with the big screen, that was one of the reasons I wanted to purchase this particular style! The buttons of the parent control are easy to use and straight forward making them very user friendly. I appreciated how it has a little stand on the parent control so it can sit on the kitchen counter and I don't need to put anything behind it! That is sooo handy, I can place it anywhere with this stand not having to fear it will topple off. The battery can stay plugged in on the baby side and parent control will last more than 25 hours at least. I also really like how they also have an 18 month warranty if anything was to go wrong with the baby monitor. All in all very satisfied and will continue to update with any changes! :)

Battery life is great, picture is good. I have placed the monitor at a high angle to see the whole bed, but unfortunately the motion sensing doesn't pick up my son waking up, grabbing his blankets and exiting the room. Perhaps it works better close up, but with manual rotation only it is less effective. The Mic sound appears to work quite well, but sound does appear to trigger the monitor either.

Got this monitor after returning another, slightly cheaper off brand we tried that was just terrible. This one is much better. Decent picture quality for the price and great sized screen. My only cons are that it is pretty quiet. Even on full volume, I can only hear my daughter if she cries and cannot hear quieter noises very well like her talking or calling us. Only other con is the song it plays when turning the monitor on. It is long and unnecessary and doesn't seem to turn off. It isn't a huge problem but could be annoying if you are trying to discreetly turn it on. Otherwise it's doing the job just fine. We've had other brands like Motorola and Vtech that we have since replaced and for the price different, this one seems great.

The video monitor had reasonable battery life, display quality and was very easy to use. We used it often write up until the day that our toddler decided that it would fit well between the base of our instant pot and the cooking portion. Needless to say, not melt resistant.

Update: In the beginning I was very disappointed with the product as the screen was constantly black and we couldn't see anything at all! I even wanted to return it. But then we realized that the camera wasn't working well because one of our lamps obstructed its lens. So, I would like to take my critical review back, and I highly recommend this camera now.
