I spend my last eight winters in the Arizona desert areas. My RV and tow vehicle are outside and exposed to desert sunshine every day. My RV color is black with silver trim and my jeep color is silver. I reapply Bead Maker about every three months. Just spray it on and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. I found that road dirt and grim do not stick and buildup on the surface of my vehicles like it did with paste wax products. **Q: is this product a polymer sealant?** A: It contains polymers but I would not call it a sealant. **Q: Can you spray it on an engine? It should be safe right?** A: You can apply it to a cool engine. We only recommend applying it to painted and plastic surfaces though. **Q: Can I polish with a da polisher after clay barring with bead maker?** A: I definitely would not do that, it’s a bad idea.
