Seems to work so far. It's hard to tell because it doesn't light up or make any sound (that I can hear). I use Frontline on my dog to kill the ticks, but I wanted something that would repel them as well. My dog is large and solid white, easy to spot ticks before they bite. I've attached the unit to to her collar and I put her collar on her only when she goes outside. I have not seen any ticks on her except for when she went out without her collar, then, sure enough, she came in with ticks crawling on her. So I have to believe the device is working. Note: We do not have fleas where we live, so I can not comment on the effectiveness on fleas.

I took a chance and was disappointed. Used this on a Golden Retriever, no difference, does not repel fleas. All stages of flea's found in the fur. I can not say if it works against ticks. For those that say it works, I really hope so. But for me this is a big no. I gave it plenty of time. I am in the LA airport coastal area, not that that makes a difference.

I have a Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler). She is into the weeds and woods constantly as she runs outside. I put this on her collar and without any other flea and tick applications - we have not had any issues with ticks or fleas. Says it is good for 6 months and ours is still functioning after 8 months. Highly recommend.

It works. No longer see ticks crawling on my dog after a walk.

Would our pups have gotten ticks without these? Who knows. All I know is during a Wisconsin summer when ticks were bad we had none. I love that there are no chemicals involved. Our dogs don’t seem to mind them at all.

I really really wanted this to work! :( I purchase it as a more natural tick protection option for my dog. Unfortunately, he got a massive tick on his ear just inches away from this device hanging on his collar. I only had it for a couple weeks, so the battery was brand new. Total waste of money and do not place confidence in this protecting your pet.

After a really difficult summer with lots of ticks this product worked really well. Our beagle wore this outside everyday. We only noticed a few ticks over the past few weeks in comparison to her bringing them in the house nearly everytime she went outside. There's no smell which was a bonus. Our dog hated the scent of sprays, making them almost impossible to apply so this was an excellent alternative.

It works. This is my second one and I’ve been using it on my 64 pound dogfor more than a year. I am very pleased.

Detta är vår andra Tickless. Vi köpte vår första i början av augusti och den har fungerat jättebra, det tog ca 1 vecka från vi sa till den på till att det inte var någon fästingar kvar på hunden. Sedan dessa har det endast varit några få fästingar som har varit på hunden, men ingen som har satt sig fast. Och det är med tanke på att vi bor i ett fästning tätt område på landet i Blekinge nästan otroligt. Hunden är en ”äkta blandras” med halvlång strävig päls, mankhöjd ca 45 cm som löper lös i trädgården och skogen flera timmar varje dag. Batteriet har varit i ca 6 mån. Så den kan tryggt rekommenderas - så ”löp å köpa”…

The battery cannot be replaced. There is no charger. The device must not get wet. In other words it is wasteful to the max and not suitable for outdoors. Since I have no ticks inside my home I do not need this utterly useless device. I am annoyed that such nonsense is being produced and that I have to waste my time with returning it now. Anyway, it will be good riddance.
