Ex-Pro Product Photo 20" x 20" Soft Box Cube Studio Set

When I sent for this, I had no preconceived ideas what it would be like It. If I had I wouldn't have imagined it to be this good. It all packs away into a bag, about the size of an A2 portfolio.No instructions come with the studio and in the main none are necessary. Except that is, for the tripods. When I took them out of the bag they appeared to be missing one, or perhaps I should say 3 vital features, namely the legs. To reveal the legs, you have to unscrew the base of the tripods. The legs are stored away inside the tube that supports the light.The lights can swivel up and down. But there is no adjustment to change the tripods height. So if you want them to be higher, you'll have to stand them on something. But that's no biggy.There is one thing I must say however, when I bought my 'Soft Box Cube Studio' I was given the option of having 'Halogen' or 'Led' lights (bulbs). I went for Halogen, I wish I'd gone for Led. The Halogen bulbs get megga hot! Make sure you turn them off when not in use and between shots. If you can, it would be wise to set your shot up before turning them on, then off immediately after. They aren't cheap to replace.All in all I would say it was/is well worth the money and I'm glad I bought it. I hope this review helps some-one who is finding it difficult to make up their mind.

It does what it saya on the box. A bit fiddly to set up but once you get it sorted it's good. Always buy the LED bulbs as it saves you from having to switch the Halogen bulbs on and off all the time.

Are you looking for a small studio for your ebay pictures?get this it's worth the money and you can make your product photos look so much more professional.But do replace the bulbs with LED ones.

The best bit: Product arrived a week earlier than estimated by courier.Yes, that was the best bit.For the price paid, I was not expecting a 'Rolls Royce' of a product but something reasonable. How wrong was I.Tent is average and flimsy.I opted to have LED bulbs which were recommended as the halogen bulbs over heat - I paid extra for this but they are - not bright enough - waste of money.Camera stand - not stable enough to hold a DSLR. Recommend you bin this as there is a risk you could damage your expensive camera if the whole thing topples over - which nearly happened twice.Lesson learned - don't by cheap rubbish.What am I going to do with mine? Bin the rubbish.

I a'm starting my own online jewellery business and for that I needed some good pictures without paying out a fortune to a pro photographer.Its a great product, packs away well and the legs of the lights slide inside.One downside that is easely fixed, the inserts have a velcro strip on one side and the tent has the strip in the center bottom back, should have been on the top but as i was saying... thats easely fixed.Great product!

I bought one of these for my wife's birthday. It works brilliantly and she has a superb photo of the bottle of champagne that we shared. The studio walls fold very nicely into the integral storage case and the lights fit neatly into the front pocket.A well implemented solution all in all.

Having bought this product about 5 weeks ago we have used it quite a lot but find that the different background are not wide enough for the box and show the margin making it difficult to take some large or multiple items of the same product also the Velcro is too far into the box and when you lay the background you have to pass it through the back making it difficult to lay tidy so this makes it look all greased.

If you struggle to get good photos of things like greetings cards, this gadget is perfect. You can use the coloured cloths provided, or put pretty patterned paper in the cube to create your own complementary backgrounds. The spotlights shining in give diffused light, perfect for minimising glare on anything shiny, so you get good results.
