Q: Good to fix plexiglass boat windshield cracks?

I'm not sure, since the boat windshield may be different than the Lexan sheets that I used. I would certainly try it. The needle applicator is very precise, and it only take a drop or two to get the bond. The liquid easily follows cracks and almost "wicks" into any voids. It worked very well for me.

Q: Does this product eat away at the material? I've found that Gorilla glue tends to do so, leaving white residue/streaks behind that doesn't come off.

YES! That's how solvent glue works - it dissolves applicable materials allowing them to merge into one piece. So yes it will attack, "eat away " many plastics and mess up the surface if you spill or drip it on your material. If it doesn't attack the material, then it won't glue it either.

Q: How do you fill the applicator?

You can open the cap and pour it in, or for small gluing projects, squeeze the bottle, turn the applicator bottle upside down, dip the tip into the glue, and let go of the squeeze on the bottle to let the vacuum fill the needle.
