Rowenta DW4120 2400W Auto Steam Iron

As expected from Rowenta this is a very good steam iron that feels well made and steams well. We haven'y encountered any drips or leaks and it is quite lighweight too. Bought to replace the JML advertised gold iron that was awful and fell apart after six months. This doesn't feel that way. Recommended.

It's a really good IRON, but the Max jeans 3 temperature leaves shine on your jeans as it's too hot for the material, either you can iron your denim inside out or keep the temperature Low on 2, Any questions let me know... SEE IMAGES I'VE POSTED.

In my 70’s I wanted my new iron to be like the Rowenta irons I have always had since I married 48 years ago. This one is cheaper but still feels good in my hand. Unfortunately it is lighter than any of the others. More pressure is now needed to de-crease the clothing. One or two streaks of water shoot out from somewhere but doesn’t worry me too much...yet. I like it.

Wasn't keen to order on line as an iron is something that needs to be "held", but very pleased with this iron. My last Rowenta lasted nearly 20 year and I have high hopes this will do the same. Good weight and easy to use. Glides beautifully and very effective even on over dry cotton. Excellent!

I prefer a stainless steel plate to the ceramic coated type. I like the 300 micro steam vents and that the amount of steam produced is automatically determined by the temperature setting. So when ironing on "Normal Cotton" just sufficient steam is produced to do the job - none of the excessive amounts which some other machines seem to produce. There are no leaks from the water tank and the cable is of sufficient length for me (just 2.0m). It does not drink water and a single filling usually lasts long enough. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a great iron. Steams well and does everything stated excellently.

This Rowenta iron arrived today and has been unboxed. The paperwork states it has a two year guarantee so I expect it last at least as long as that. My previous experience of Rowenta has been good. I'll update this review over time and certainly at the two year ownership point.Update: I'm not convinced this iron works properly with excessive cooling revealed by water dripping from the base rather than steam before the thermostat kicks in and it heats up again.Further update - the iron appears to have an intermittent fault in that the thermostat/temperature control device doesn't work properly some of the time. I'll be returning this piece of junk under guarantee.

No water jug so it is hard to fill up with water but apart from that it’s great
