IDK if they changed the way they scent these, or what happened. This is pretty much the only toy that my dog cares about, and it was time to replace the one the she had. This is the first time she's not really been interested. Kind of disappointed.

Love this! I bought a smaller version having no idea it was lavender scented and my dog was super obsessed with it and dissed her other toys like they were last week’s leftovers. She never typically had that one toy that she kept near her. Anywho, also a side note- she has anxiety. Like, bad bad. So I figured why not get her more of these super duper soft toys she loves so much? Only when I ordered the second (slightly larger) version that I’m writing this review on did I realize it mentioned ‘scented’ on the description... clearly I immediately sniffed it upon its arrival and it smelled amazing! I honestly want one for myself now, but that’s beside the point. She loves it (see adorable photo)- highly recommend.

My dog loves this toy—not sure there’s much of an aroma but he loves the thickness and squeak. The biggest surprise is it isn’t a dog—it’s an elephant. I sent one to another family member and they received an elephant, too. The title of a fleece dog a bit misleading but it’s still a quality dog toy.

We initially purchased a smaller version of this at the local pet supply store and my pup loved it so much, but ripped it up pretty quickly. This is actually the second one of the bigger ones that I have purchased. I thought we were getting the blue dog, but ended up with a purple elephant. As much as my dog loves these, they aren't very well made AT ALL. I have a chihuahua pup and within one day he has a hole in the back of it with the squeaky piece pulled out and the stuffing starting to come out of it. There is no way this would hold up to any dog. The issue is that since my dog loves it so much (it's his baby. He literally carries it everywhere), I have to constantly buy a new one and these aren't cheap.

My elderly dog began to develop some anxiety and this toy really helped calm her. It quickly became a favorite. She doesn’t really “play” with toys anymore, but she will nudge or bite this one a few times (I think that releases the calming aroma) then put her head down on it and nap. She isn’t a chewer, so I can’t say how well this toy would do with dogs who like to de-stuff, but the calming effect works.

I don’t know why but these are his “babies”...he ends up disfiguring them after awhile but then I just buy another one for him...I bought this one to have shipped to my daughter and paid $13 for it ...I usually pay $8 locally

I thought the whole “scented toys for dogs” idea was a little goofy. My daughter bought one for our dogs for Christmas and they went bananas! It was a smaller one from the pet store, and our 2 dogs (basset and shih tzu) steal This toy from each other constantly. So I bought this larger one online, and it is a huge hit with the dogs too!

These are great. We have a mini aussie and she absolutely loves these toys. What ever the aroma is, it makes her snort while she carry it around the house. We have had two of them now and be aware, they seem to pull apart or tear easily but after a simple stitch job, they are stronger than before. Our dog gives it a 5 out of 5

I can't smell a thing but I am pretty sure the dog can! He has been very gentle with it so far (unlike some other toys he has destroyed). I'm not sure all dogs would agree but mine rates it a 5 star!
