Mine did not come with instructions so I had to google them. It’s pretty self explanatory but I wasn’t sure what needed to be done first. It’s cute and comes with everything you need (minus the glue gun)

This product is stupid.

Nice lamp, once you put it together. I didn’t pay close enough attention to the description, because I was very surprised when it arrived in pieces. But the title does say “DIY”. Thankfully, it wasn’t too hard to put together, and almost everything you need to assemble it is included (minus the hot glue gun, but I had one of my own.) The instructions were pretty easy to follow and the finished product was really nice. Took me about an hour start to finish. (With breaks.) All in all, I really like it.

This tulip light is adorable. The seller is lucky that it turns out so darn cute because this thing was difficult to put together. DO NOT attempt this craft WITHOUT a hot glue gun, you will be miserable. The video on this amazon page is completely useless, as it is too blurry and sped up to see what is going on. Even a small paper with some diagrams would have been very helpful. Fortunately, there are video tutorials on the internet for this exact item. The quality was pretty nice and there were no smudges on the glass when it arrived and nothing was broken. I appreciate the inset battery pack, as having wires hanging out the back is just unruly. Tips for building: be careful, as the tulip heads are fragile. I managed to break one, but you could glue them back together or simply not use them and it will look totally fine. Also, be careful to not get hot glue on the glass because it will smear and be difficult to remove. Additionally, the tiny screws my set came with did not really go inside the plastic as proper screws should. It seemed like there was no threading to screw into. This wasn't an issue for the outside, as that has held up fine, but the battery pack did not stay in place, so I simply hot glued it to the frame with no issue (the batteries are still accessible this way). The current price on 12/7/2025 is unbeatable for a comparable item anywhere else, even on your typical cheap Chinese junk website or dollar store. That being said, yes, I would have spent $5 more for the option of not putting this together myself. But overall, it is so cute that it was worth the hassle of putting it together and the price.
