MERRELL Moab 3 8" Tactical Zip Wp

These fit nice and are comfortable. They are nice light weight and a good color. Good traction in the snow and ice. They have the Vibram soles that a very comfortable. I stand for hours at work and these give me great comfort. The side zipper is a good convenience for which I bought these boots for. They have held up very well so far.

I have been searching for a pair of boots that didn't make my feet hurt for over 20 years without success until I got these. every other pair I had found hurt my feet to the point that I after wearing them for less than 6000 steps total it hurt walk at all for next two days. These were almost perfect from the moment I put them on. I regret nothing. You can buy less expensive boots that are just as comfortable but will wear out in a faction of the time. spend the extra money get these and just enjoy them. They are worth it.

Nice boots definitely will order them again

This will be my third pair in 18 months with the Moab 3. Why 3 pairs? The first pair lasted a year (soles wore away). The second pair I replaced much faster because I am stubborn and finally admitted that I needed wide. So let me tell you about this boot that has not changed: The zippers are HORRIBLE. The first pair, the zipper would catch about 3/4 of the way up and then I would force it the rest of the way. The second pair, it depends on if it's sunny, cloudy, rain or snow. The zippers either go up smoothly or it takes the hulk to get them to close. And of course with the third pair (shame on me) because the one zipper will only close 3/4. I don't know if someone from Merrell actually reads these reviews, but PLEASE FIX YOUR ZIPPERS! The boots are perfectly fine outside of that.

Very durable long lasting goodbye again

I’ve been wearing Merrell‘s for years now and have always enjoyed them so I thought I would try their duty boot. While the boot is comfortable, they do not breathe at all. I work full time as a firefighter and have also been in the military for over 20 years so I’ve been wearing boots for a good part of my life. I have never had my feet sweat so much with a pair of boots as I’ve had with these. I’ve only worn them on duty about 6 times and I’ve had to change my socks halfway through my shift every time I’ve worn them. Some people have a problem with getting sweaty feet, but I’ve never been one of them. I’ve worn boots for 36+ hours in the past and have never had my feet get bad like with the Merrells, especially after wearing them for only 12 hours. Leather is supposed to breathe, so I’m curious about the quality of the leather. Comfort wise I will give a solid 10. Breathe ability, a solid 0.

I’m a big guy. 350lbs. I stand for 8 hours a day for work. These boots are worth the money. No problems at all.

Great boot! I’ve been very impressed with the MOABs. Very little breaking in and have no issues whatsoever with them during the last 3 months of daily work wear.

Good boots. Very Comfortable. Waterproof. Tried many other military boots. This is the one that I would recommend.
