Chauvet DJ Bank

There was a problem with my order: the carrier said it had been DELIVERED, but that was not the case. I was home all day, and keeping an eye out for the expected delivery - but it never arrived. I contacted the seller (Solotech Ecom USA) and they responded almost immediately. They said they would ship my order again via a different carrier, and it arrived in just a couple days. My thanks to them, I was impressed with how quickly they acted to correct a problem that they did not cause - it was a carrier problem. As for the Chauvet DJ Bank, I had purchased this same product a year or two ago, and knew it to be a quality item. Well made, fairly bright for the size, and reliable. So a great product, and a great seller!

I bought this light strip as a small center piece to my 7 piece setup. When buying, I was actually not aware that it was sound activated. I plugged it in, and it responded amazingly to my music. It lit up my room quite well. I added some smoke at it was even better. It has a sound-sensitivity control, as well as speed control. I would recommend this any day. I'm just a house DJ and the most I've done is DJ for my school dance, but this is more than awesome. If you're a serious DJ or musician, you should probably go with a bigger system. The ONLY down is the short power chord. All you have to do is attach a power strip and plug that in. Then when you want it on, just turn on the power strip. This also works as an extension chord. Buy this if you want an awesome light show to go along with any music.

Small, but effective unit to bring some color to a party. LED's are cool running and bright. Sound activation could be better with more options, but it's still a great unit.

I bought three of these for my band for when we play shows, and they worked perfectly. The LED's are nice cause they are a lot brighter than the regular pin spot lights. The red light on one of them had stopped working, im guessing maybe during transport, but Amazon replaced it right away for me. The sound activation is really on key as well, they move really well to the music. They also have an output so you can hook them up to a chaser control if you wanted.

I own the older Color Bank with the bulbs and it works better that this one. I love the size, weight and LED bulbs on this one though. It has a nice color throw too. It also has speed control and audio control just like the older model but........ this new LED version is built with less quality. When you turn both speed controls all the way down to the lowest settings, the bulbs still keep flashing to the next one, about every second. They do not stop flashing when it's plugged in since it don't have an on/off switch. If you are using this on a switcher, then it wouldn't be a problem. I'd prefer the light to stop when the music stops, but it don't. When you try to adjust the audio flashing, it is so sensitive to sound that the lights just keep flashing very fast in rotation. Also the circuit board inside is held to the metal panel by 4 plastic pegs sticking through the back. They will stick your hand and eventually get pushed inside and the small circuit board will move around. Within 1 hour of getting it, I had to take it apart, push the plastic pegs back through the holes and melt them with a hot knife so they would stay in place. I love the light but it's not as useful to me since it's "always" flashing. It's possible I have a defective one, not sure. The cool bright LED bulbs are the best part of this light. ***UPDATE, I played with one of these in the store and it actually worked better. When you turn it all the down, the lights stopped flashing until the music started again. The one I have never stops flashing, even when the music stops. I guess I got a bad one.

Love the light but did not come with outlet cord and screw in ends for light bracket!

This light bank worked SO well and looked as though we spent a lot of money on it, even though it was very inexpensive! It was perfect for the dance floor!
