OutIn Claro Portable Coffee Scale, Timer Function, Rechargeable

You really do get what you pay for. I originally bought a cheap £15 scale thinking it would do the job, but it felt flimsy, lost its charge within a week, and generally just didn’t inspire much confidence. The OutIn Clark is on a completely different level. It feels substantial and dense, clearly made from premium materials, and the quality is obvious as soon as you pick it up. The accuracy and responsiveness are spot on, and the battery life has been excellent so far. A big bonus for me is the protective case — such a simple thing, but it makes a huge difference for storage and travel and really reinforces the “premium” feel of the product. It pairs perfectly with my Timemore grinder and Airscape coffee jar, and just fits nicely into a quality home coffee setup. Expensive compared to budget options, yes — but absolutely worth it if you care about your coffee gear and want something that lasts. Highly recommended. ☕️

Excellent design! Top quality with many functions as well! Weight precision down to 1g for just 1 coffee bean! Great looking tool with protection case, charging cable and detail instruction manual! The silicon pad is a blessing so clean up after use is quick and easy! 10/10

Excellent little coffee scale. It’s fast, accurate, and the built-in timer makes dialing in espresso easy. The round shape fits neatly on the drip tray, and the display is clear without being distracting. Feels solid for daily use and responds quickly to weight changes. A great balance of size, precision, and usability.

Great scale, intuitive to use. Went through 3 others before I settled on this one. Sleek look and easy to clean. Really like the preset espresso and pour over modes.

These perform the function perfectly and are small and light. The different modes may confuse people a little though (or at least they did for me - I have to get checking the manual for the difference between M1 and M2)

Brilliant. The feature that activates the timer when the first splash of brewed coffee hits it has made it so much easier to get the output from my espresso maker correct to the recipe. Looks well made and should last. Self rated in espresso mode also brilliant.

Works as it should, classy and intuitive. Intuitive may sound like a weird discriptive but once you use it you'll understand. We take on every vacation along with the Outin grinder and two AeroPresses.

I like how small and responsive it is but usability ruined by invisible turn-on button and silicone mat that never stays in place.

Ottima bilancia, precisa e fa il suo lavoro! Mi piace in particolare la modalità pour over per il caffè filtro, l'unico problema è che alle volte è veramente TROPPO sensibile...normalmente per interrompere il timer bisogna sollevare o il filtro con il caffè o la caraffa, la bilancia avverte la variazione di peso e capisce che il brewing è terminato; (troppo) spesso, però, basta sfiorare filtro o caraffa e spostarlo di 1 mm perchè la bilancia registri la (minima) variazione di peso come un "Ho finito!" e interrompa il timer. Considerando che oltre alla ratio acqua/caffè anche il tempo è un fattore importante quando si usa il metodo pour over, rischiare che il timer si interrompa a metà e dover terminare "a occhio" non è il massimo... EDIT: a seguito della recensione, il servizio clienti di OutIn mi ha contattato per informarsi sul problema e mi ha inviato, gratuitamente, un supporto pieghevole dove sistemare il V60 per evitare che il timer si interrompesse. Sono stati gentilissimi, attenti e disponibili, per questo mi sento di aumentare la valutazione!

Great product

Works wonderfully. I was a bit scared reading some of the comments but it's perfect for espresso machines. I use it with a De'Longhi Dedica and it fits perfectly the tray.
