I went to transfer the items to my compatible version IPad and I could not transfer them. I then tested it on 2 more iPads, 2 Samsung tablets, 3 android phones, 2 Windows laptops and 1 linux PC - collected from whole family. None of the items could see the drive - all indicating the drive was offline. I bought one earlier in the year and that one works. Save your money, buy a name brand.
