I wasn't sure if these would be so small that there'd be no point in having them, but they're just right. I have one on my keys, and with it attached to a key loop it gives enough purchase to strike easily. Theyre chunky enough I feel they'll last a long time too. They don't look out of place on a zip or in a boot lace.

For making stuff like this they are great and they work very well.

Nice idea and good to put on a bit of paracord. Note 550 paracord is a bit difficult to thread through the holes but possible. Would only ever use as a back up and have one of mine on my Leatherman Charge Plus.

These are exactly what I wanted to finish off a few knives I've made. They are fiddly to use but they work, so as an emergency tool they pass the test. I found I needed to scrape the rod flat before it would get a decent spark but I've lit fires with it and will always have one on me.

Pretty hard to throw a good spark off, but that could be down to me. Make nice gifts though.

Not very practical for every day use, But that's not what it's for, as a back up or for carrying at all times tucked away on necklace or on boot laces and such like it's very handy if fiddly. I have bought a few and have used them to good effect. Overall a great little bit of kit and I happily recomend
