Especially good for those of us who can't just run to the store. *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2020* I ordered this 18 pack of 8 ounce whole milk boxes as well as a 6 pack of 32 ounce whole milk boxes for a few reasons and I am very happy with the flavor and convenience. I live alone in a rural area and have suffered multiple traumatic spinal injuries, so making myself presentable to get out of the house, driving into town, trekking through the grocery store, loading and unloading my haul and putting everything away has become increasingly difficult for me, so it has been wonderful to have a home delivery of delicious, shelf stable milk ready and waiting for me whenever I want to cook something that requires milk or have a bowl of cereal. I also ordered it for traveling to Los Angeles when my Dad drives us to see our spine surgeon. Dad LOVES his milk and he was able to drink some with his breakfast and eat his cereal that I brought for him even though we had to leave the hotel for the hospital for my latest spine surgery long before the hotel set out their continental breakfast offerings. The small 8 ounce size package is great too as it eliminates the chance of spoilage and food waste when I only need a small amount of milk. If I'd known about this product when my elderly grandmother was still alive, then I'd have stocked her pantry with it since she frequently mixed up dry milk powder for herself and measuring was difficult due to her poor vision. These convenient little boxes of milk come with a little telescoping straw too so I'd imagine that they'd be great in a child's lunchbox in lieu of a juice box or other sugary beverage. It would probably be a good item to have in the pantry even in a larger household so that you have backup and never run out even when someone drinks the last of the regular grocery store milk and doesn't bother to say anything until the next morning when someone else has already poured their bowl of cereal and will be met with disappointment. I've been most pleased with this product and highly recommend it. It'd be wonderful for anyone who struggles to get to a store. The unfortunate down size is the fact that this product is, what I would describe as much more expensive price wise when compared to fresh milk at local retail markets ! Here is the factual cost comparisons. Locally, 1 quart of fresh milk, local retail, about $2.00. This product purchase on Amazon costs exactly $4.00 per quart which is quite a differential spread. Double the price, equally the same pleasure.
