Electrician's Technical Reference: Variable Frequency Drives

A book of many words, but of so very little content! If your looking to learn more about the practical aspect of variable frequency drives.. keep on looking! This book is a big disappointment. After wading through acres of text you are left wondering if you have actually learnt anything useful! Simplistic diagrams are amazingly poorly annotated and seem to be thrown in randomly with little or no reference in the main text. An emphasis on Horse Power (which is fair enough) and (somwhat less forgiveable) ft lb offers a rather outdated view of a very modern system.
