Watch A LOT how to videos before attempting
Worked on my 2015 Macbook Pro A1502. If your trackpad and/or keyboard stops working, the ribbon cable may be loose. You may need to readjust it. If not, a new ribbon cable replacement may be a solution. If not, the track pad and ribbon cable may need to be replaced. In my case, the whole track pad + ribbon cable needed to be replaced. Watch how to videos before attempting. This is not an easy task. Watch tons of how to videos until you feel confident. If you don't want to risk it, have a professional do it. Note: The ribbon cable has a very small rectangular tab / clip that needs to be opened when removing the ribbon cable, and closed when properly inserted.
