I have the 866 red wing pecos should i get the same size

I loved the Irish Setters Red Wing used to have which is now the Pecos 866 boot... that was about 30 years ago... lost my 866 boots in a flood a couple years ago and looking to replace them... Looking at these because they are almost identical...

Yea they are water proof. But you can tell they are a cheaper made boot. The constitution isn't the greatest. I when with them because of price but if I was to do it again I think I would of coughed up the money for red wings they are a lot better made boot.

width---How do I choose the width that I need ?

I have a pair of Ariats size 11 &12. So should I get a 10.5 size? Tennis shoes I wear a 12. I'm all confused.

With the golden fox boot I ware a 9.5. I buy a 9.5 from them. I would say they fit their size. In my review I stated I had ankle problems but the golden fox has a wide foot entrance entering the boot so I do not have a problem getting my foot in the boot. So if you ware a 12 I say buy a 12. They are very feasonably priced through Amazon. If you have Amazon prime you can get it next day if it's coming out a fullfillment center. Hope ths helps . Peace
