I was hesitant to buy this because, what if it doesn't work? What if it doesn't fit?Well, I needn't have worried. It took my brother just a couple of minutes to install the extension.It works like a dream! I am 4' 11" and showering in my new apartment was a miserable experience, with water hitting me in the face, and not being able to reach the dang thing. I didn't think there was anything I could do about it. Then I googled and found this extension. The reviews were good, so I took a chance. It's awesome.. I'm loving it! I can totally reach the thing where the hose/shower head attaches now. I highly recommend this attachment for anyone who has trouble reaching the thing that the shower hose sets in.

I bought a house and the shower head was a combination rain-shower and hand-held shower, but it did not work well. So I replaced it with a new Water-pick hand-held shower that had a much more powerful spray, but this one became too high for one of us to reach. I got a quote from a plumber to move the shower head location down, but this was going to be very expensive. I looked at home supply stores and plumbing supply stores, but none had an extender pipe to fit the pipe coming out the wall. THEN, I discovered this extender pipe on Amazon, and it works GREAT. It was easy to install in about 15 minutes using a little teflon tape, and it brings the hand-held shower down to a better height.

Very well made, sturdy, oiled rubbed bronze matches my showerhead perfectly. Easy to install. I only wish it came in a longer length! Would definitely recommend.

This extension is well made and is perfect for lowering the shower head for short people like me. Love it.

I recently remodeled my bathroom and did a beautiful tile tub and shower enclosure. One problem though, I installed the shower at what is considered standard height. My wife had a fit to say the least and demanded it be corrected post haste. She was envisioning demolition. I was able to delay and ignore action on her demands until this extension arrived. It put the head at the right height. It matched the shower set perfectly. She did a happy dance and I once again can live a peaceful life. Some solutions are just this simple.

When we had our bathroom renovated, it looked great but the shower was way too high, like 7 feet. I tried to find an extender at Lowe’s and Home Depot but no luck, so I ordered this 6” chrome extender on Amazon. It was delivered the next day, it was easy to install, it’s solid and it looks great! Best of all we can now reach the handheld shower. 🙂

This is a very hard-to-find item. I needed it to install a tall massage shower head. I had a new bathroom built in an old home. There was not enough room for the shower head to be aimed towards the back of the bathtub. The extension is very well made of polished chrome, almost a work of art. It arrived in a small box inside another box filled with bubble wrap. There is no chance of damage during shipping. The extension fit perfectly and allowed me to aim the shower head the way I wanted it. As a piece of information, I found out later from online tutorials that your standard shower arm can be unscrewed from the pipe behind the shower stall. That’s right, the shower arm in everyone’s shower is threaded. Even knowing this, I prefer the extension route. I did not want to take a chance on a leak behind the wall. I did not notice any decrease in water pressure that some people reported. My complements to High Sierra for a quality product.

Sturdy and really simple to install. I had trouble reaching the shower head which was so high, but no more! This shower arm extends six inches so you just have to make sure the shower stall is not so small that the shower head would then be close to the opposite wall or door. Otherwise, a terrific solution for lowering the height of a shower head.
