Quality and appearance - 5 stars. Ease of install - 3 stars
Double door 14’ kit:The good: the quality and appearance of this barn door kit is excellent. I expect that when properly installed (see below), the track, mounting hardware, rollers/wheels and finish will last a lifetime. The track, wheels, brackets, and all installation hardware are very robust and seem to have a good durable powder coat finish. The wheels roll quietly and effortlessly on the tracks. The not so good:Proper installation of a kit like this - especially for large double doors, is not for a DIYer without some degree of home improvement experience, another pair of hands, and a decent amount of tools (drill, impact driver, level, 1/2” socket, etc). What makes it more of a challenge is that a few pieces of the less crucial hardware provided with this kit aren’t good fits - like too-small washers etc. The biggest challenge is that the instructions are not clear when it comes to a few of the measurements for where to drill, washers and spacers provided, and where they should be used. For this reason installation takes longer than it should. For example, the acorn nuts on the roller bracket bolts bottom out on thinner doors (most barn doors). Even though thick plastic washers are provided that properly fix this issue, they are not mentioned in the instructions. Mechanical ability and some common sense is required to figure this out. When these unclear installation steps are figured out, the end result is five stars.

Take your time and verify all measurements
Pros:Relatively easy to install but don't get in a hurry, lots of measurements that need to be double and triple checked along the way.Looks really nice, wheels roll very smooth as others have mentioned.Heavy Duty.Cons:1) Packing could have been better, all components were individually wrapped in plastic but since they are all heavy steel, they evidentially banged together quite a bit during shipping and the wheel bars had their paint chipped off in multiple places. Must have been a rough ride as the powder coat seems very robust otherwise.2) Instructions are ok but don't trust the dimensions you see as they often don't work, my two examples: A) Mounting the rail center 1-11/16" above the door will result in the anti-jump block not being effective--should be 1-1/4" -and- B) I have the large wheel kit and per the instructions that should use the no7 door drill hole pattern which calls for the holes to be drilled at 1-9/16" and 3-9/16 down from the door top. Though the first hole location will almost fix issue A, the distance to the steel hanger pre-drilled second hole is actually 3-1/2" so there is no way drilling the second hole 2" below the first will work. **Again I say-double and triple check all measurements!**Misc:I was converting my swinging French doors to Sliding Barn doors so had to deal with molding around the door opening and the doors being the exact size of the opening so no room for error. For those interested in the pre-drilled rail hole spacing, I've included it in the attached image. I was installing a double door configuration with an 11ft rail, what I found it odd that the first hole to left and right of center were at 10inches(20inches between them), not the expected 8inches to accommodate 16inch on center studs--all remaining holes were 16in on center. In the end this is typically a non-issue since it is rare that a door opening would be framed such that the studs would be in the correct place for barn door rail placement anyway, just something to consider. I put up a decorative backer board that attached to the studs then attached the rails to it, was very solid with my 65lbs/ea doors. I've included an image of the current state of the install, still need to add handles and stain the backer board, but functional.

Great product, some installation and QC issues.
Double door large spoked wheel model - Great looking and sturdy product of which I purchased two and oddly, even though marked in Amazon as one package for delivery purpose, they did not ship together which when after the first package arrived showed in my account as fully delivered even though the second product was still in transit. Although both were identical products instructions between the two varied in format which is a QC issue. Measurements quoted in the instructions need to be reviewed as you will not have enough distance between the wheel and the door to slip over the hanging rail if you don’t add 1/8th inch more space. You will need to allow at least a 1/2 inch more if you plan to use the steel rail joiner block piece as the doors hit this before they come to rest at close position, I had to remove mine once the doors were installed. Also, the tolerances quoted in the instructions for horizontal position of the wheel assembly on the door will have the wheels on a double door installation clashing before the two doors come to rest on each other which will leave a small gap between the doors and not allow for a rubber stopper to be installed if you choose the minimum quoted distance (need to allow another 1/2 inch but even then you will not fit the rubber stopper in the location recommended.) The rubber shoppers supplied did not look like the ones pictured on the instructions, not a big issue but a little confusing. The bolts supplied to fix the wheel roller assembly to the door are very long and in my case using a standard 1 & 3/8th thick internal solid door needed to have a 1/2 inch ply packing block installed On the inside face (not really seen) to take up the gap. The steel rail joiner block piece requires a 4 screw bolt/washer/nut connection, in one of the products 3 of the screw bolts were correct and one was wrong. Also the washers for this connection are not big enough as they will pull through the hole drilled in the rail when the connection is tightend.Over all a great product, the “Winston” team needs a little work in the QC department to review the mounting instructions for a double door installation.

Great hardware
This hardware was nice. Looks great and easy to install. Only downside is the splicing of the 2 tracks that appears to be half the height of the track could be much better splice that doesnt have as much give between the 2 tracks

Shipping costs
The barn door hardware is as described. But the shipping costs didn’t cover all the shipping cost. I had to pay another $30 when the package was delivered.

Instructions failed me
I love the look of these doors but the instructions failed me big time. I had to learn the hard way. As usual.I read the reviews and I decided to give it a go. I ordered them and they arrived on time. I was most afraid of the track because the wall these doors are on has cement block behind it. The backer board (pic 1) was installed quite easily. We actually hit 6 studs. We installed the track and my boyfriend could actually hang on it. Very strong. We built the doors using tongue and groove and select pine from Lowes. The frame boards are 3.5 inches wide. I wanted to see the tongue and groove. These were quite easy to build. Straight cuts with chop saw. I had to rip one tongue and groove board and used my circular saw.The problem came when we installed the hardware. No where in the instructions did it warn us to space the hardware with enough room to allow the doors to close with no gap. Hence, we centered the hardware. When we did that, the wheels hit in the middle and did not allow for a perfect closure (pic 2). So, we had to move the hardware. Now, I have holes that I have to fill somehow (pic 3). The plate in the centre of the track we had to cut in half because leaving it off left the track less stable. We couldn't use the full plate because the wheels hit it and we didn't get a good closure. Once we moved the hardware and reinstalled the half plate, we finally got full closure with no gap (pic 4). I love the look of the open doors. In hindsight, I would have made the doors with a wider frame so the hardware could have been centered on the door. I would not have experienced the gap and the holes had the instructions stated where the hardware should have been installed. This wasn't a total failure and I now have more knowledge because of these failures but I believe the company should have foreseen these obstacles.
