Bosch Rotak 37-14 Ergo Electric Rotary Lawnmower - 1400W.

The lawnmower is not powerful enough to cut the grass. Moreover, it leaves the grass chunk without getting it in to the grass collector/bin. The height of the grass collection unit is more vertical. This does not allow the grass channeling into the grass collection unit. I had a similar mower from Bosch which worked very well for the past 7years. I was expecting the new model Should be better,I am disappointed with this product. I cannot have this and struggle for few more years. Hence, requested for a return and opt for a better model.

Very easy to use makes short work of my lawn I’m over 70 and being able to wheel mower in and out of shed really helps easy to empty

I am replacing my present lawnmower, like with like so assume my present level of satisfaction with the product will continue

Bought this to replace an ageing petrol mower which myself and partner are finding hard to start.I have had the previous model to this for three years with absolutely no problems at all. Why Bosch tried to improve it is beyond me! The box is so flimsy it's almost impossible to clip together and comes apart when removed from the machine for emptying. On slightly damp grass, the mower blocked at the slightest excuse and refused to pick even dry grass up. The quality of the cut was awful! Not a patch on my other Bosh which I use in the front of my property. It went back whence it came!!!

Assembly instructions don't make a huge amount of sense. Cuts grass OK. If it hits a patch that is longer than 2cm it slows right down like the motor is struggling. Doesn't pick anything up at all. Terrible. I now have to rake the lawn. At the edges it has blown grass absolutely everywhere so I have had to sweep that all up. Sending this straight back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this mower from Homebase about 5 years ago. I don't like the handles and the power switches itself off irratically. I now need a new blade, but it the blade appears to be discontinued. Well done Bosch!

Bought this last year. The main reasons were: need (bought our first house, no tools), adjustable height, integrated roller, and large powerful motor.Assembly was simple. As usual with Bosch, the instructions were rubbish. Interestingly, the red knobs at the cross bar section of the handle are on the outside on the photos but on the inside in the manual.The cord is reasonably long enough. I have an extension cord that I run to the edge of the lawn and the mower's cable is just about long enough to reach the other end. The mower is light enough to carry and it's very easy to adjust the height. The downside of height adjustment is that it doesn't follow any logic:1 - 20mm2 - 30mm3 - 45mm4 - 55mm5 - 70mmThe roller appears to be useless or at least only partially effective. Don't buy the mower on this basis. Otherwise, during normal use, the mower is comfortable to use, light, and the grassbox collects rather well. It will never be perfect and if you mow the lawn infrequently, you'll have to empty the box several times. I've since got into the habit of mowing every week, it takes me 20 mins including setting up and putting everything away and I can cover a 50sqm lawn in one go. The grassbox can be split apart and one half fits inside the other, which can then be place on top of the mower to conserve storage space.
