I scuffed the toes of some pointy toed pumps after wearing them first the first time. They are fake leather so I though they were ruined. I applied this paint (perfect match for taupe) with a brush and then as it dried I shaped it a bit. Since they weren't real leather, I think it took more layers to get a good finish. I first peeled off as much of the loose top layer then lightly sanded the area. Then applied 5 coats letting them dry thoroughly (overnight) between layers. The first few layers looked rough (the material just sucked in the paint), but the 3rd one finally remained on top. It's like vinyl paint so it will end up giving you a nice coating like you'd see on leather. After mushing it and shaping it a little, I was able to get a fantastic result. Good product!

I have a king ranch f150 with worn, cracking leather seats. I used leather filler (the white areas on the seats in the photos) and finished with this. The color chart is useless. I paint as a hobby and have gotten pretty good at color matching, but had I not been very good, this job would have ended with mismatched colors. The trick I found to get an even finish is to use a sponge and apply the paint in light layers using a heat gun for faster drying. I started with a paint brush but it left unnatural patterns in the paint and was much too thick. Overall I would recommend this product.

Tried to use the product, can't seem to get the right color, emailed for assistance, sent picture, yet no response. Money wasted.

Easy to use with lots of colors to mix together to make a good match. I had a gray brown recliner that the dye came off due to my dogs flea medicine! This product covered it very well!

The black was way too black and didn’t match my black leather seat. Work good but stands out
