PERFECT! Clear images with no muddled grayscale.
Good quality paper, just enough detail without overwhelming grayscale. This book gives you wonderful images with room to express your own shading and imagination. Good value.

Can't use them since they are printed back to back on cheap Per…
Love the line drawings! Very nice, but they printed these back to back on very light weight paper. Using anything other than colored pencil bleeds thru, and they must be done very lightly! All in all I think it's a shame that they basically wasted these beautiful floral drawings. Would have been so much better to have them printed on better quality paper. Willing to pay for better quality too.

Really gorgeous florals, fun to play with!
What with going through elderly relative care and my husband's career apparently ending a couple of years early I found myself in a panicky state. Such panic attacks as to require some help, but I discovered the side effects of drugs to be completely abhorrent. A dear friend is in an elder care facility and now a couple of my husband's elderly relatives are as well, so a lot of stress.A very dear friend recently has been sent to an extended care facility where she was introduced to adult coloring books for mental health. Well, I am not the type to sit and attack anything not 'productive', but I promised her and my doctor I would try.I love flowers, cannot draw but trying to color these with authenticity, learning about shades and shadows by hit or miss has been tremendously therapeutic. I have really expanded my materials, but the prices can sometimes be prohibitive when you really get into the hobby. This book has some lovely flowers that are easy for even my amateurish attempts. It is affordable as are all of Charlene Tarbox' books, I ordered this one first but have decided to get more. These are my favorites, I was hooked by the pansies on the cover.

Flowers Coloring Book
Wonderful book. The designs are such that they aren't entirely full of tiny little spaces to color. Many have larger areas which make it more relaxing to color. You'll want to do these pictures with the colored pencils. A real nice selection of pictures too. Great price as well! Well worth buying. No bleed over either from 1 page to another. An awesome bonus is on the inside covers there are colored versions of each flower picture to give you an idea of the colors to use or what they look like in real life.Update & picture.Redoute' Flowers is a book I can't wait to get into. Each of the 30 pictures has a color image to show you what colors they are. Of course their common and scientific names are included which is a wonderful bonus for these books. After all, we are never too old to learn and learn I will.Make sure to have something under your picture if it isn't removable so you won't leave imprints on the picture under it or color markings from the one already done. You don't want anything to mess up your hard work on these wonderful pictures.

Large, clear drawings of 30 different flower prints.
This coloring book titled Redoute Flowers has simple line drawings of 30 different prints. There are colored pictures of all 30 designs on the inside of the front and back covers. The designs look more suited for water color than coloring but no doubt if you had the type of colored pencils that can be used with water, you would not be disappointed. That being said, I still believe the prints make for a nice coloring book for all ages. I think these prints would be excellent for use in copying and using on clothing and accessories. I received my purchase on time and in excellent condition. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this seller.

This is a fun coloring book
This is a fun coloring book, I ordered it because some days I deal with eye strain from staring at a computer and so I can't really use very detailed coloring books to relax. This one is good because the drawings are big enough for me to color comfortably. The flowers are also nice, there are lots of different arrangements to color. The only downside is that markers may bleed a bit and the are drawings on both sides of the pages. So, it's better with colored pencils.

Very useful for my purposes
I purchased this book as well as the John Green one so that I could use the images to create templates for chigiri-e collages. They're both great and work well. The images aren't particularly detailed and there are color pictures included that can be used for reference. I think they'd be fine for applique and embroidery as well, but don't know about using them as coloring books because the images are on both sides of the paper and the paper itself isn't particularly thick.

Beautiful artwork let down by the style of book - thiner paper and back-to-back printing.
I'm really spilt over this book. The pictures are SUPERB - truly beautiful drawings that are just aching to be coloured or brushed. The artwork is fine-line but detailed (unlike some that have lines as think as a pencil!)It's a difficult thing for them to do - detail or not, thin lines that people might go over or thick bordered areas - and this artist has hit the right point for it all.Truly gorgeous artwork...BUT...But - the pictures are front - back of pages... sorry.. not on for this sort of art book. And the paper - well, it's thick-ISH, about 130 - 150 gram paper. Sorry, again, not good enough. OK for single art per page, definitely NOT for back-to-back artwork. The answer?I'd pay double for one page per artwork... triple for one page per artwork and thicker paper!"Make it so!"

Disapointed
Although the pictures in this colouring book are of top quality the paper isn't. I used my promarker pens which are of a very high and professional quality. The ink went straight through to the picture on the reverse side and slightly on to the picture on the oposite side of that so one picture coloured and two ruined. I think even if you used crayons you would be able to see the colours through it. Maybe the pictures should have been put on to separate pages instead of back to back. Very disapointed with this product indeed.

Ideal
It is a colouring book in real detail as a gift for a lady in her 70's. She thought it was lovely and is just something to cheer her up on the cold days and evenings and keep her fingers active.Would be ideal for people of any age

Put a sheet of paper under the one you are colouring
Lovely book but a shame when you do a picture it bleeds through to other page

Would buy again
Lovely illustrations to colour. To work with this book a delight. Would recommend to anyone who wants to relax and colour but to end up with a professional finish.
