HEX Performance Activewear Laundry Detergent Packs, Fresh, 75 Count

I work out a lot and sweat heavily, so finding a laundry detergent that can really clean my activewear is important. HEX Performance Activewear Laundry Detergent has been a game changer. It does an excellent job removing sweat odors and leaving my workout clothes feeling fresh and clean. I love that it is made specifically for athletic fabrics and helps keep my clothes looking and feeling like new. Even after tough workouts, my shirts and gear come out smelling great without that leftover sweaty smell. A little goes a long way, and it has become my go-to detergent for all my workout clothes. Highly recommended!

I've bought this a few times now. I love this detergent. It smells like apples, and it cleans very well, especially the sweat-wicking shirts, which is why I bought it. Other detergents don't get all the odor out of that type of fabric, but this does. It's pricier than others, yes, but it doesn't irritate my skin, have a strong perfume smell, or leave behind stubborn stains. I still pre-treat any stains, but I would do that with any detergent. It also hasn't left behind any goo from the gel pack, which I've experienced with other brands of pods. All in all, dissolves well in cool water, cleans well, and removes odors.

I work full-time as a cook in a warm kitchen where it's difficult to keep my uniform clean and smelling good, so I wanted to try out this detergent to see how effective it was at cleaning my workclothes. I've used it for a few laundry loads now and I'm impressed by how effectively it's removed stains from food and sweat and how it leaves my uniform smelling fresh for the start of each day. In my experience, it's much more effective than other brands I've tried and used before and the "high-performance" label suits it well. It's used in the same was as other laundry pods, so it's not at all difficult to use in my laundry, and I haven't noticed any bad skin reactions or other allergies. While it's marketed as being for "sports," I think it works just as well for any role in which you're constantly active and I've been happy with how well it's cleaned my clothes.

I absolutely love HEX Laundry Detergent. I used to buy it all the time when Target carried it, and I'm so glad I can still get it here on Amazon. Some of my workout clothes can get pretty funky, especially if I don't wash them as soon as I get home, but this detergent works wonders. It gets rid of sweat odors and leaves everything smelling fresh. It's also been amazing for pet messes. I have an 18-year-old Chihuahua who occasionally has bladder accidents in her crate, and sometimes I don't notice that she's peed on a blanket right away. This detergent does an excellent job removing urine odors from blankets and pet bedding, leaving them fresh without lingering smells. My only complaint is the redesigned bottle. It's much more awkward to hold, especially if you have smaller hands like I do. I'm also not a fan of the new measuring cap. I actually kept an old detergent cap because I don't like leaving detergent residue sitting in the lid where it can drip or spill if it gets knocked over. Despite the packaging changes, the detergent itself is outstanding. It has become a staple in my laundry room, and I highly recommend it for anyone with activewear, pets, or stubborn odors.

I'm still struggling to believe that there is a product on the market that actually does what it says, and more. But, every time I think this detergent has met it's match, it comes out on top. Un-friggin-believable!!! I'm a yoga teacher, and a personal trainer. I teach a lot of hot yoga, and live in Florida...a lot of sweat happens. I was tired of having to buy new activewear so incredibly frequently, so I took a chance on Hex and gave it a shot. So not sorry!! After a class, my clothes are so wet that you can wring the sweaty grossness out with the gentlest squeeze. I sometimes change outfits 5 times during a day. Since I'm working for 8 to 10hrs every day, the clothes sit in that grossness for hours before I even have the opportunity to get them into the laundry. Naturally, they get smelly, and I thought that was just the way things had to be because NO OTHER detergent, booster, or additive took care of the lingering smell, post wash and dry. I could maybe use a new shirt for a month before it became unbearable, and unwearable. No more!! Not only does this completely clean and refresh my workout gear same-day.....but, I tested it out on old workout gear that I thought was just permanently stinky and dead to me.....and, it completely took out all of the "whatever" that would cause it to stink the moment it was exposed to body heat. I have reclaimed literally thousands of dollar worth of workout gear that I love dearly. My new go-to detergent is Hex, for as long as the company exists, I will only use Hex for all of my tech fabrics and activewear - because it actually works. Like a dream. Seriously. I use Hex detergent and then any Citric acid based rinse (Downy Rinse & Refresh - which works great, although you can just make your own with citric acid powder.....so much better than vinegar with no pickly after-stink) Thank you Hex for saving my clothing!!

HEX Performance is definitely my favorite detergent for my workout and technical fabric/gear laundry, but I usually get it directly from the HEX website (cheaper than on Amazon, regular 20-30% off deals). I only purchased this set of two detergents as it was a good Amazon Prime Day deal. It might be a gimmick, but this gimmick works for me. I just wish the brand was more transparent with the ingredients (actually provide ingredient lists on the packaging). I'm very active and quite picky with my workout clothes, so I always use special sports detergent as I like to protect my investments. HEX Performance is the best sport laundry detergent I have found and it's worth every penny for this purpose. I have a top loader, non HE and it suds well. Personally I find this too expensive to use with all my laundry, when cheaper options like Borax, washing soda and Castille soap work so well. I noticed a difference in the way my activewear feels and looks from the first wash with this detergent. My clothes were in good shape, but now the material looks brand new... even clothes I have for 2-3 years have a better texture. The colors are also more vibrant. It's also great for waterproof and technical material clothes. It gets all the grime and stink from my workout clothes, and I love it has no added perfume (I don't like my clothes to smell like laundry detergent). The Free and Clear version might not be fragranced, but it has a soapy fresh scent that wears off after I take the clothes from the drier. It might not be as efficient on old hard stains, but usually my workout clothes are dark and don't get very dirty. I have some old white running socks which I used for a mud run and are `grey` since then; this detergent didn't make them sparkling white again but it keep new stains out of the way. I didn't find this on EWG to validate it's environmentally friendly truly (and the brand is not transparent with the ingredients)... but let's say I like they claim the product is designed with environment considerations. Regarding the packaging, I personally like the pouch better than these bottles, but the detergent is the same quality.

I’ve been using the detergent & sprays for years. My son had the ‘boy funk’ that could make clothes stand up and walk away on their own. It worked like a charm! And now he still uses it on his work clothes, and I use them on everything else too. It’s really amazing! I Highly recommend it to everyone!

Seems there was a change in the ingredients or how he product is made. Once the company went from the very convenient and efficient box container, to these cylinder bottles, there's been more flaws than improvements. The smell is horrible now, like fart or dead cabbage, very unpleasant, however thank goodness that doesn't stay on clothes after the wash. The design of the spout is not functional and makes it a science project just to pour it and not let it drip on the sides of the bottle. And the use of extra plastic just damages our planet even more, I thought the previous box design was easy to use and efficient, we have enough plastic in the world: our clothes, our foods, our drinks, less plastic would be nice and better for our bodies :) Please bring the previous version back!

While I do like the cleaning aspect of the Hex laundry product I find the cost of the product to be excessive. I find that one Hex pod is suitable for small loads but “my normal” load while not large, does require 2 pods for proper cleaning. I live in Canada and the cost of Hex (from Amazon) works out to be $1.65 Cdn per pod or $3.30 Cdn per load. So while I like the quality of the product I find the price excessive and will be switching to a different product in the future.

Excelente para la ropa deportiva, quita perfecto el olor a sudor que se ha quedado en la ropa. No tiene un aroma fuerte el jabón pero huele a limpio.

Doesn't work. This is just a soppy stuff. Doesn't work as expected. Not recommended. Doesn't remove odours or smell as advertised. Tried washing twice and there was no change in smell. Not even a bit. False advertising and useless product. Never expected such a useless product for this high price.
