Love, love, LOVE this little TENS/EMS unit! It's perfect for what ails both me and my hubby. One reason a star got knocked off is that the directions are confusing and it doesn't explain what the symbols mean in a way I was able to understand. Had to watch a few YouTube videos of a chiropractor explaining what width, pulse rate, etc. were. Once I got the gist of it, everything else was very, very simple. I do wish that the electrodes didn't use the pigtail leads and just snapped into place. Hard to push the metal part into the black part of the electrode due to wrist pain, but eventually was able to get the wire to go in. Attaching it to my shoulder where I'm experiencing the most pain was a little bit of gymnastics, but I was able to place the electrodes in the correct spots without assistance. Electrodes stick very well the first and second time, but then start to lose their adhesion ability the third time so had to switch them out for fresh ones. Thankfully the unit came with extra electrodes, and I also ordered a whole bunch extra, too because I know up be going through them quickly. Hubby and I were fighting over who would get to use the machine first on Sunday, lol, so I just went and ordered another one so we can do our treatments at the same time without having to wait on each other to be done. All in all, great little unit. Also showed it to my chiropractor and he says it's a great quality machine and he approved of it, so that's a plus. Very effective for pain and tension relief, love the different programs, and that you can customize the settings if you need something different. There are 12 programs for the TENS portion, and I believe there are like 5 - 10 programs for EMS. I prefer the TENS; EMS is a little bit too forceful for me at this point. I'll have my chiropractor adjust the settings on that part for me. After 1-1/2 months of intense shoulder pain and dealing with lateral Epicondylitis on top of it, I was actually able to sleep most of the way through the night this past weekend!! I was forgetting what actual sleep felt like without pain! Definitely a keeper and I recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about purchasing a unit like this. Best of all, the machine and the electrodes are FSA/HSA eligible, so if you have an account with either, you can just use that to pay for it. A receipt was not delivered with the unit, so I had to go into my orders and print out the invoice for both of my orders in case the IRS questions me about it. It feels so nice not to have to choke down more ibuprofen or naproxen. Those meds were starting to make my stomach hurt due to having to take them regularly. I don't need an ulcer on top of everything else I have going on! Thank you to Istim for making this wonderful unit!

I've owned the iSTIM EV-804 TENS/EMS 2-Channel Rechargeable Combo Machine Unit - Muscle Stimulator for just over 1 year now, and I couldn't be happier. Although I'm not using it as often as I did when I bought while going through PT, I still use it from time to time, and I'm always impressed by the number of settings and its overall versatility. This TENS/EMS machine is easily up to par with what I used while going through physical therapy, and the number of settings and options built in sets it apart from some of the cheap junk TENS units you'll find for $30.00 to $50.00 with only a handful of settings. If you want and need a pro-grade TENS/EMS unit, give the iSTIM EV-804 TENS/EMS 2 Channel a try. You won't be sorry.

I like the unit and its range of capabilities very much. The packaging is nice well laid out and complete for the first user. The reason for my four stars on the value of money there are several other options there are more complete (electrode available) had a better value. As for ease-of-use once you kind of figured out and read The Complete Book it's still difficult but you have a better understanding of exactly what is expected of you. My biggest problem was the instruction book said that there would be a a blue light while charging which would turn green when charged. I had to make a phone call to California to the distributor to ask the question why the light was red for a long time. The answer, you have to charge a unit at least 8 plus hours for the first time not the two hours suggested in the book. The light finally turned green. I was a happy camper to see that the unit wasn't overheating it just took a long time to charge for the first time. I would strongly suggest spend the extra few dollars for this unit because the several options for therapy. This makes the unit more adaptable for multiple applications for healing the muscles. I definitely suggest this to friends who talk to me and seen this one.

Absolutely love this device. My back and hip pain was caused by muscle strain and the pain is greatly reduced. The EMS is great for turning muscles back on after an injury and for targetting specific muscles. Not sure what took me so long to try this

Make sure you charge this before using. It took almost 8 hours before the light went from orange to green. At first I was skeptical on how well the item would work. Set up was not very hard and finding the right mode was the kicker. Just make sure when you reach the setting right after ramp 2 you turn down machine. That's when i found the constant mode. All electricity all the time. It's now my favorite setting. The pads are well made and the wiring they give you is not hard to figure out so hooking every thing up was a couple minutes. I also saw a couple you tube videos to get the idea of the machine. I have used the machine and the same pads 4 times. It seems like they might stick well at least 2-3 more times. They do give you 8 pads with the machine. All in all I am impressed with this machine and it feels like I got value for the price. This was a quality purchase.

I received the TENS/EMS about one week ago. I noticed both the center connector pins on the box were bent and there would have been no way to plug in the leads. Trying to do so would have only damaged the connectors more. I used the point of a letter opener and bent the pins back to a center position the best I could. I was then able to plug in the leads. It was hard the first time but the pins centered from lining up with the plug and it became easier to plug and unplug. I started using it but a couple of days later I decided I should let the seller know about this even though it’s working. Pins that have been bent are more susceptible to bending or breaking. I sent Everyway4all an email on Sunday and they responded immediately. They sent me a new unit Priority mail the following day with an envelope and self address paid label to return the one I had. That’s GREAT Customer Service! Now for the unit itself. This is my third and also my best TENS/EMS unit. It does exactly what they say it will do and it does it well. I bought this one because you can dial in the intensity rather than pushing an up or down button 20 or 30 times to select your intensity. This is also the first one I’ve had that let you adjust frequency width and rate while you are using it. My most recent one required me to stop the unit, make the adjustment, start the unit and push the up button 20 or 30 times if I just wanted to make one small change. I’m really glad I bought it.

I've started the process of ordering a replacement. I was shipped a used device. I didn't pay $80.00 for a dirty used device. The pictures show it all... some weird brown stain on the box; the pad packages were cut open with one of the packages being empty, and the device itself was dirty. I want to make sure ISTIM doesn't get a bad review, so I gave the product 5 stars. This would be my second ISTIM device; I think they are a good company that makes a good product, even if it is a bit overpriced. And I'm pretty sure that the seller, EVERYWAY4ALL, shouldn't get a bad review. Since this was shipped from Amazon, I think it was Amazon's fault. I suppose there is a chance EVERYWAY4ALL is shipping used things for Amazon to sell, but it seems more likely to me that it's Amazon's fault since they deal with RMA's, not EVERYWAY4ALL. If I'm wrong in who I'm assigning blame, hopefully someone will correct me. For an item that is intended to be adhered to your skin, sending me a dirty old used item that I paid full price for is not cool. And yes, it was listed as "new". Finally, to be fair to Amazon, their liberal return policy is great as always, which helps to make up for this bad experience. But seriously, yuck.

The pain relief was good and steady for 6 months and then it quit completely and wouldn’t charge anymore. This is the 2nd unit like this one I’ve used and both quit working.

The build quality of the iStim EV-804 is top-notch. It feels solid and well-made, with a rigid casing that doesn't feel thin or cheap at all. It works as expected i have no complains.

After 5 months, the electro pad was not transmitting electric currents. The device can be ON/OFF but has no current to the pad. Tried different connecting wires, and different pads no luck. Contacted the selling agent, no help from them. Contacted the manufacturer direct in Taiwan for servicing, but all emails remain unanswered. So please make sure there's after-sales service support before purchasing any electronic wares from here.
