At my age I have found that a little assistance goes a long way as I like to train hard but over a short period of time. I took one and a half scoops in about 200ml of water and it mixed very well without it being grainy in any way and tasted good, not overly sweet so didn't taste sickly in anyway, i drank it probably about 30 mins before lifting the first weights and felt it go to work fairly rapidly, definitely had a good workout and pump and didnt tire or feel fatigued. All in all does what it says on the tub and will definitely be reordering. The formula tastes nice - a bit like diluted fruit squash - and mixes really well with no clumping at all and very little residue left behind. It contains 160mg of caffine per scoop, which is less than a lot of other brands that seem to default to 200mg per scoop, and I would describe the effect it has as more of a buzz than a kick, but its definitely helped with my work out and didnt leave me with the jitters as some stronger brands might.
