Better quality bamboo than other vendors
I had been using a Green Panda bamboo toothbrush for quite some time. I feel fortunate to have come across that brand as my first sustainable toothbrush. They are now out of business, but the reason I mention them is due to their bamboo selection. I read several other reviews on here looking for a replacement - basically all of the top-selling bamboo toothbrushes. To me, it wasn't about getting 8 or 12 or whatever. I just wanted good bamboo. Not that cheap stuff that splinters off. I narrowed my selection down to 3 or 4 choices, and that's when it clicked - only one of them had the little grain freckles, this one and the Green Panda I had been using for a while. The cheap bamboo cutting boards you get splinter like crazy, and if you look at other brands, you'll notice they are more along that variety than not. This toothbrush has great bristles - a sort of long and narrow bristle pattern. The handle is nice and firm. And the toothbrushes are smooth. Different than the imagery - they are labeled 1 through 8, instead of two sets of 1 through 4. Well worth the purchase. No need to look around and compare with others. These are likely the best on Amazon as of the writing of this review.

Kind of Wimpy
I was very excited to receive these brushes. I've become more concerned about the plastics I throw away and I've fond that buying compostable toothbrushes is an easy way to contribute. These toothbrushes come in a nice recyclable container. Each brush has a different number on it so you can distinguish whose brush is whose. The reason these brushes get four stars is because the bristles feel wimpy. When brushing, it feels like they are too pliable; like your teeth just push the bristles away too easily. Using these felt like taking a tuft of my hair and brushing it over my teeth. Also, I feel like these brushes leave more toothpaste residue on my teeth more than regular brushes. So much so that now I have to rinse my mouth with water to get the extra paste out. However, when I've washed my mouth, my teeth feel the same as they would if I had used a regular toothbrush. Also, I haven't noticed any difference in the whitening of my tooth. I know there wouldn't be a drastic difference but I was expecting a little change. So far, I haven't seen any difference in how white my teeth are.

I love these tooth brushes
I love these tooth brushes! I've been on a journey to reduce my waste, and one of the first things I did was start using bamboo tooth brushes. I've NO regrets regarding these tooth brushes! I have sensitive teeth, and there were often times when using my plastic tooth brush was uncomfortable. These bamboo tooth brushes are incredibly comfortable in your mouth. I was somewhat skeptical about using a wooden tooth brush. I thought it would feel odd in my mouth, like my lips would drag against the wood--I'm ridiculous. Using these tooth brushes is nothing like that. My teeth feel incredibly clean after using these. I'm so happy.I gave one to my dad who has periodontitis. He obsesses over his gums and the color of his teeth. After a few times using his bamboo tooth brush, he commented on how much better his teeth look and feel. I gave one to my co-worker, who has sensitive teeth and gums as well, and she said that this was the first toothbrush that she has ever used that didn't make her teeth hurt. She is going to order some for her and her family.Overall, this was a great purchase, and I WILL be purchasing these again.

First time user of bamboo toothbrushes, and very satisfied with this purchase
I decided to try the bamboo toothbrushes as a way to leave plastic ones behind, and so far I really like them. The bristles are soft, which I prefer, and they do just as good a job at leaving my teeth feeling clean as any other toothbrush I've used. The shape of the head is a little less sleek than on lots of plastic brushes, and the shaft of the brush is less slippery than plastic when brushing, but this is minor and doesn't prevent me from using the brush comfortably. Based on my experience so far - and I've been using these for several weeks now - I see no reason to return to plastic.

Good, very soft
These brushes are lightweight, comfortable to use, good for travel, and they have a good mission behind them (plant trees, reduce waste, etc.).The bristles are a bit prickly, but overall very soft. This is nice for sensitive gums, but I find it somewhat ineffective for all my brushing. And it’s really hard to brush your tongue with it.I took one of the bamboo brushes on a trip and regretting using it each time I brushed. When I got home I switched to using a bamboo brush in the morning only, and using my more powerful brush at night (electric spinning brush that leaves my teeth much smoother). The charcoal bristles are great. A bit disturbing the first time you wash out shaded water from your mouth… but once you get used to it it’s fun. Seems like it would be great for kids :)

Feels GREAT in your mouth!
After ordering and using these I will definitely reorder! The fit and design doesn't look like anything special, but once you use it you certainly feel the difference. I kept stopping looking at the toothbrush trying to see what was making the difference. The bristles are very soft yet compact enough not to feel wimpy and the handle felt secure not feeling that it might snap or feel awkward in my hand. Total 5 stars for the feel and how its design makes brushing feel thorough and complete.

Great brushes and eco-friendly to boot!
I was a little nervous about buying wooden brushes. I thought they'd feel weird. It does feel a little different but after three or four days I don't even notice anymore.I like that they come in sets that way I don't have to worry about buying more toothbrushes for a while and can give some to friends so they can try it out.All in all a very good brush and to boot it is ecofriendly and plastic free! I am definitely a happy customer!

I like them enough to repurchase
I repurchased these after finishing off my last pack. It was hard to choose from so many brands offering bamboo toothbrushes. I chose this brand bc of the tree planting claims they make setting them apart from the rest. The brands that offer a lower percentage of plastic in the bristles would be ideal if not for the price tag. Hopefully this brand will move in that direction as well while keeping the toothbrushes reasonably priced.
