This product was certainly easy to install on my 2010 ford mustang. It seemed like exactly what I needed...until it didn't. Upon receiving the product I wasn't really satisfied with the cheap feel of it and the fact that it didn't carry the same weight as the stock shift knob that came with my vehicle. Although it felt awkward at first, I was able to adjust and get over myself. The biggest problem for me came when I noticed that the adhesive that allows the placard with the gear positions to rest on the shift knob was melting. The first time I noticed it, it wasn't terrible and I thought it would be fine...and almost everyday after going in my car it would just get worse even after pealing the adhesive off of the shift knob. It would still be right back the next day looking worse than the day before. Whatever adhesive that was used for this product is very clearly not able to handle the high indoor temperatures of a car in the summer. You would think it would at least be able to handle minimum heat for a car but the adhesive was melting with the outside temperature at 75°F...and my car will typically be in temperatures closer to 90°F when summer really sets in. Overall, highly upset with the product and would not recommend for anyone leaving in a hotter climate.

Doesnt seat all the way so there's a small gap at the bottom of the knob. Also, the knob that came from Ford has nice rubbery sides. This one is just hard plastic.

I purchased a used Ford Focus manual shift and the previous owner had a "custom" shift handle which I grew to hate--it was too small, slippery in my hands and was a simple cylinder shape so it didn't fit into the palm of my hand the way I feel the most comfortable with, so I decided to try this replacement. It fit seamlessly into the shift boot, the threads perfectly matched the original shift lever, and no set screw or locking nut was required to hold it in place. Also, the knob fit nicely into my palm and I was shifting very naturally after installation. Very satisfied with this product.

The leather does not come assembled is just the leather and had to reuse the old frame and the quality of the knob you can feel is not the best but I guess for the price

Very easy to install, I was worried before I bought it. Everything worked just as expected. Great value.

For the price it's a steal.. just make sure you have some glue for the top cap, it popped off pretty soon after installation. A little gorilla glue and it's been perfect.

Works well and looks like the factory knob. It is slightly lighter though.

top of shifter came off easily but a little glue fixed it perfectly.

Replaces original perfect fit. Its just plastic but a good price.
