MICROWAVE DIVIDED PLATES WITH VENTED LIDS (Set of 4, blue)

The plate was very shallow. Good construction; like the vent.

The price was fair on this item...although, like another reviewer felt...it is too limiting with the shallow plate..and more so than i thought...The quality is OK, about what you might expect from an anonymous brand.I am skeptical about how it may microwave...i see it melting and if so, I will not like that...I wish i had spent more money to get the actual Tupperware brand.My original search WAS for the Tupperware, and this is not a good brand substitute.... the Tupperware quality is what i really wanted...I settled for this and should have stuck with my original choice.I would not buy again for my purpose but this may be and ideal item for someone else.....not every one needs a big tall plate! it may be great for a lunch item,for cold things, or a very small eater. but i was buying it to prepare DINNERS for my dad..

I discovered these covered, divided plates at my Auntie's. I love the idea that I can controlthe proportions of my meals. They clean up well, and do not discolor or retain the smells of thefoods that are heated in them.Some reviewers have complained that the lids do not securely snap into place,and that they bend after microwave heating. The lids were not necessarily intended forfood storage in that way. Just be mindful that you have to hold them in place when you areplacing them in the refrigerator for food storage. For storage when empty, I stack my plateson top of my lids. They all retain their form.If you are only heating food in one section, place a small amount of water in the empty sections, sothat the microwaves have an object to heat up other than the empty plate sections.

I use these to reheat meals in the microwave and to freeze make-ahead meals for later reheating. They are kind of small, portion wise, though. A plateful is plenty for my meal, but my husband needs a second plateful to satisfy him. The lids do not secure to the plates in any way. They are only useful as a splatter shield to set on top of the plate in the microwave. They do freeze and reheat very well. Just make sure to wrap the plate and lid in foil or plastic wrap before putting into the freezer.

I was looking for plates in which I could put meals to be frozen & later heated in the microwave. They are a good size and I like the feature of the movable "tab" on the top which can be opened when heating and closed to retain the heat.As other reviewers had warned, however, probably 80% of the lids now longer click into place so I'm having to tape them closed. We have also lost a couple of the tabs that apparently just popped off of the lids.

These are good with tops the snap on securely.Only drawback is they are a little small.Seeing it is only my wife and me at home now, they should be great.Recommend.

These plates were great with the vented lids. The plates were much smaller than I expected.

these are great idea for storing last nights dinner in portioned sizes. The lids do not stay on very well they seem to pop off all the time so they are not sealing very well at all. again I do like them just wish the lids would stay on better

my daughter started college and send with her food in these plates. go from freezer to microwave nicely and easy to transport the meals--also good for any kind of leftovers.
