Superb in Every Respect
The Indicator 2024 US Limited bluray release has a top notch video transfer of this work of cinematic art.The movie itself is superb. Christopher Lee is at the very top of his game in portraying the title role.Production values are very high including direction, cinematography, set pieces, extras, costumes and location shooting.Acting is universally excellent.Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see an important biographical and historical film for adults. Engaging, thought-provoking and quite entertaining as well.A brilliant companion and comparison piece to the more well known film "Gandhi".

Excellent film contradicts stereotypical narratives
An essential corrective to the two-dimensional caricature of Jinnah in Richard Attenborough’s “Gandhi” (1992).The film is well-acted, and atmospheric with authenticity.

2016 dual format edition by Eureka
The 2016 "dual format (DVD/Blu-ray) edition" by Eureka is an excellent reproduction (unlike many rip-offs which flooded the market in the past.) Two discs. I played the DVD disc all the way thru, in letterbox format. Video and audio transfer is top-notch. Thumbs-up to Eureka.

Against all odds
Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three. Despite being at odds with the British and hindu alliance.Excellent role execution by Christopher Lee and James fox.

Well-acted and informative
It is useful to get both DVD and Blu-Ray discs in this enjoyable account of the life and ambition of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, erstwhile Indian nationalist but subsequently founder of Muslim Pakistan. It is a very well acted by all the major players, although the script occasionally descends into unsupported or even incorrect facts and analysis, bordering on propaganda, especially when the tiresome but inevitable topic of Kashmir crops up. Nonetheless, it is strikingly balanced an many issues and areas of Hindu-Muslim conflict, presenting both sides of the case evenly. Christopher Lee is an impeccable Jinnah, even though he appears personally only on occasion and mostly as an "undertrial" from the afterlife: his portrayal of the man is superb; he captures the cold and stubborn, but intelligent and honourable aspects of Jinnah's character perfectly. Altogether, this is a film that those interested in the sub-continent's history ought certainly to watch.
