FlashingBlinkyLights Deluxe Ninja LED Light up Sword with Motion Activated Clanging Sounds

*** As promised I would come back to adjust my review according to the exchange and return of the damaged sword and I was super impressed. I got an email from the vendor right away and I am getting a replacement sent to me today (same day of request). Would buy from this vendor again. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my five and three year old nice and nephew. This was a hit with both the kids and the adults, so much so that we had to put it away because it totally stopped the gift opening. The sword is light and the lights and sounds were a lot of fun. The only reason I gave this a four out of five and not a five out of five is because even though the box was not damaged one of the swords was obviously broken. And cause my nice and nephew to fight over the one working sword. I am getting it exchanged so if that all goes well I will come back to give it a five out of five.

I bought this for my son to use with his Halloween costume (He went as Leonardo, the blue Ninja Turtle). Every Halloween, as a tradition and as a safety precaution, I buy a costume accessory that lights up and so I was thrilled when I found this. I noticed that many people got confused thinking that they were buying two katana swords but, just to clarify, there is only one. It arrived right on time but I don't quite know what to think of the packaging. It came in this super thick cardboard tube and both holes on the end had massive amounts of package tape which looked wadded up and dirty. The tube is strong though, it protected the sword which I was thankful for because the tube was pretty banged up from being shipped when it arrived. The sword itself is very cool. It is very bright and bigger than I expected. My son loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it since we got it. The sound affects are nice and it is not too loud as to get annoying. I love how the sword is made. My son has used swords a few times with his previous costumes and none of them have held up by the end of the night. I am happy to say that this one did! The handle is just what you would expect; regular plastic and light weight. The "blade" is what I love the most. The LED lights are in a small, round, rod inside of the plastic blade so they don't get messed up if you hit anything while playing. The plastic "blade" is kind of squishy, limber, to protect against cracking and falling apart. Overall a very well made product! Definite recommend and may purchase more for parties or maybe another Halloween later on.

Very nice toy but it broke fairly quickly. It also only comes as one single sword. The picture is misleading but I failed to read the description fully because it states it I the description. My son loved it. It lights up and has some cool sound effects. I just wish it could have held up better. The item material appears to be of subpar quality. I would not purchase this particular sword again, I will be looking for better quality next time. Good price though.

My son was making his christmas list and wanted a "ninja sword" and saw this one and had to have it! I was a little wary because of the bad reviews its's gotten but it arrived very fast & it works! It lights up and responds when moved. I tested it out myself to make sure it would be "boy proof" and its really sturdy and a good buy! I mean yeah, It kinda looks cheap but it's not made cheap. My kids will love it for christmas. Thanks :)

It’s being marketed for children as little as 3, but it’s too long for small children. Also, they charge about a third of the cost of the sword for a return.

I bought two of these swords for my son to go with his holloween costume this year, they came very fast because i have a prime membership. I opened them up before he saw them and was so excited to see they not only light up but make sword noises. My son LOVED them when he seen them, he played with them everyday up to holloween. Now he uses them as toys and still loves them, however, the sound did go away after about two weeks of him playing with them, im not sure if its because i need to replace the batteries or it just stopped, I would still suggest buying this for others, its a great sword for a great price!

Perfect for what it is. I got exactly what I expected with this. A cheap but fun light-up sword for my 8 yr old son to use on Halloween. He loves the lights and sound effects. It's not durable enough to last a long time and I didn't expect it to be, but my son is enjoying it in the mean time. He loves to use it in the dark.

I bought this toy sword as one of the gifts for my young grandson's birthday and it turned out to be his favorite toy. However, after only a few minutes of play time the lights quit working. Next simple sword on sword play caused the outer plastic to crack. Then came the sobs and tears from a 4-year old who didn't understand why grandma couldn't just "kiss and make my soord (sic) all better". It broke my heart to see how devastated the little guy was over a toy that broke the same day he got it. So now I'm on the hunt for a toy sword that lights up and makes clanging sounds that can withstand the play action of a 4-year old for at least 3 to 6 months instead of 3 to 6 minutes. As for this one, although the price is very reasonable, if it doesn't even last a single day it's not even worth one cent! Since I was past Amazon's 30 day return policy getting.my money back wasn't an option.
