I have used this simply unsurpassed flask all these years - then last autumn the cup got shut in the car door and just slightly cracked. The flask remains in perfect order. I hunted down a single one of these, THRILLED to find it and as amazingly efficient as the original which I still use. If I make a flask of coffee on Monday at 7am, warm the flask first, on TUESDAY mid morning the coffee is still HOT not warm but HOT! The inner bottle is glass. I believe there is NO inner coating, I have bought 4 since this, for gifts, ALL are amazed at it's efficiency. I bought also the smaller one, this is less efficient I believer on account of the comparative dimensions wider pouring for shorter body - still excellent all day but not quite so hot next day.
