The F-4 Phantom Viet Nam Mig Killers
Great book depicting the role played by the F4 Phantoms flown by U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marines air crews during the Viet Nam War. In air-to-air combat and bombing missions, the F4s did a great job under restrictive rules of engagement that were such that many air crews lost their lives because of our fear of increased Russian involvement in the war.Clayton MacIntoshCaptain USAF Retired

My Dad loved it!
I got this as a Father's Day present for my Dad and he loves it! He's a retired Air Force Master Sargent and Air National Guardsman who served in both Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was an F-4 mechanic for most of his career and was heartbroken when the F-4s were phased out so being able to see the pictures and read about them is really enjoyable to him.

Another Phantom book that offers nothing new
For its price, this book is very dissapointing. Almost every image is credited to the National Archives; why not other sources? Far too many are b&w, and most of them are of poor quality. Captions and text are accurate and well-written, however brief in content. I've given 3 stars only because the arrangement and production quality are excellent. Maybe some day soon a Phantom book will be done about its phinal role in the QF-4 program.

One if not the most important fighter in the jet age.
Love the pictures. Worked on them for four years and loved the airplane.
