When I heard how bad Krafts Mac and Cheese was I decided to make my own. Bought this to try and it’s much better and healthier for you. Simple to make, just add milk and butter with some salt and pepper and some shredded cheddar cheese and super yummy. Definitely will keep on hand . Thanks

I LOVE this powder. Sometimes I would buy boxed macaroni and cheese just to get the packet of cheese powder, and I would trash the low quality pasta in favor of high fiber & high protein pasta. I love that it doesn’t have any added colors, it tastes amazing, and I feel like I’m eating a cheat meal, when in reality I can make a high quality dish with the flavor of comfort junk food. It’s super versatile, and I have mixed it in milk, cream, oat milk, soymilk and plain water. I will definitely purchase again.

EDIT!: OK, I figured out how I like this best. Since the sauce thing didn't work well for me, I decided I would try STRAIGHT out of the container...but kind of sifted, dusted over the pasta. VOILA! WORKED GREAT! I like it much better. If I kind of dust/sift it a little at a time directly over my cooked pasta in the bowl and stir, no clumps, and I am not getting the really salty taste. This will be lengthy, as I want to put what the CORRECT info is, not what was on my container. It has 19 GRAMS of FAT per serving on the label on my container. THAT sounded just wrong, so contacted the company. I won't put ALL the nutritional info, just calories, total fat and sodium. And here it is, according to the company (for the UNCOLORED VERSION): Calories per TABLESPOON 25 Fat per TABLESPOON 1 GRAM Sodium per TABLESPOON 240 MG I don't even keep milk in the house and decided as this is powdered CHEESE, AND I like a THICK sauce, I would use it straight from the container, and just mix with a bit of water in a bowl and then add the cooked pasta DIRECTLY to the bowl. So, mixed up three tablespoons of powder with JUST enough water to make not powdery and the consistency was GREAT! NO CLUMPS. Added the cooked pasta to the bowl. VOILA. NICE THICK consistency, not lumpy, then I tasted it. I figured this MUST be really cheesy as it is basically from the container with a TOUCH of water. I know people shake directly onto popcorn (which I may have liked better). I got mostly...salty. It was edible, I don't mind a bit salty, but very little cheese flavor. I sniffed the contents in the container and not much of a cheese scent either. SO, PROS: EASY AND CONVENIENT. LOW CAL/LOW FAT HEALTHIER (NO DYES, basically powdered cheese) COST EFFICIENT compared to using shredded cheese CONS: JUST ONE, TASTE. For MAC N CHEESE, just a bit salty for me and not big cheese flavor. AGAIN, I think I might like better just SPRINKLED on things like popcorn, a baked potato. I will finish the container, but won't reorder. I WANTED TO LOVE THIS, but the salt is a bit overwhelming and the cheese taste underwhelming. .

Hoosier Hill Farm Big Daddy Mac Mix arrived on time and well packaged, good seller. The product was fresh (exp. date not near), it's colorless-no dyes. This is easy to use and tastes pretty good for being GF! My only complaint is that the print on the package is extremely small, I wear glasses and cannot read any of it! I took a picture of it and made the picture bigger, that's one way to see it! The consistency is smooth & creamy, has a nice cheesy flavor from the dehydrated blend of cheeses. It states on the package that it is "Packaged in a facility shared by tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, soy, egg and wheat products", it caused zero discomfort for me and I'm easily sickened by a crumb of gluten! I'd suggest Celiac dz. patients taking Lactase with this to avoid any discomfort. This container holds 16oz so you can make a lot of Mac & cheese!

I can see how this would be a great project if your kids like the blue box Mac and Cheese. My kids don’t prefer the blue box, so unfortunately they didn’t care for this. I had hoped I found a short cut, but I did not. However, I did find this to be true to its description.
