These pickles are very good and easy to make. Perfect crunch and very flavorful. I probably will not be buying store bought pickles. I can make better ones at home.

A bit pricier than whipping up you own spice recipes. However; it is a very nice and handy substitute for use when you have a small amount of cukes to pickle. I have also mixed with my own pickle recipe and ended up with a very tasty crunchy pickle.

This mix turned me into a pickle maker! After trying it just once, I doubt I will ever buy jarred commercial pickles again. What I love most is how crunchy the cucumbers stay with this refrigerator method. The hot pickling mixture doesn't actually cook the cukes, so they retain their firm texture while absorbing the delicious flavors and spices in the mix. In addition to pickles, you can also make dilly beans with it, and I just tried making pickled Brussels Sprouts with it to great success. I can pickle the cukes I grow in my garden, or choose the best from the farmer's market. You need no other ingredients except white vinegar, and the process is actually a lot of fun. I've been happily pickling for years now because of Mrs. Wages!

From monster backyard cucumber to quart size jar of pickles! I refrigerated the cucumbers day prior so when I poured hot bath they didn't cook much. I dipped a spoon in the pickle mix and the flavor was good. Can't wait to eat em in a week!!

Very easy to use i made 16 jars of pickles with ease. I will be looking to make more next year when my garden starts to grow. I will buy more of these.
