Handy addition to your cleaning cupboard
Scotch-Brite Non Scratch Design Sponge Scourer=== OVERALL ===These scouring pads are designed as a convenient way to remove marks and stains in the bathroom, kitchen, living room, kids' room and outside (removing dirt from plastic furniture). I found them to be particularly useful in removing soap scum and hard water spots from my bath and sink (without the need to break out the bathroom spray then rinse it off). They were also useful for removing marks from my kitchen kettle kettle.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* Simple to use. Wet the scourer by running it under a tap then squeezing out excess water; use the white side of the pad to gently wipe away marks and stains followed, if necessary, by the blue side to wipe away any residue.* A handy addition to the cleaning armoury which cleans away marks, scuffs, soap scum, fingerprints and smudges from all sorts of spots around the house=== NIGGLES ===* Must be used gently so the white side is not ripped or worn away too quickly (the blue side is just ordinary sponge)* This is another product which, like wetwipes, generates more waste for the incinerators - far more ecofriendly to use a cloth or mop that can be used almost endlessly and, like another reviewer, I find a cloth and bicarbonate of soda great for removing marks and stains* I ripped the product instructions in two when removing the scourer from the cellophane wrap so be sure to take care when opening the pack* The product is unavailable at the time of writing this review so no price is shown and I cannot comment on value for money.* There's a whole list of exclusions. The product is not to be used on surfaces that are high gloss, polished, dark, brushed, satin, faux, bare/polished wood or stainless steel. The product cannot be used with chlorine bleach, on a vehicle body or post-factory tinted glass or aquariums.

Inexpensive but very effective cleaning aide but avoid using with certain surfaces
This is the same as the Flash Magic Eraser which I have already tried and liked. It is white on one side and blue on the other. To use it you simply rinse it under the tap and then squeeze out excess water. The pack suggests that you use the white side to erase marks and stains and then use the blue side to wipe away any residue. There is no need to use any detergent. This means that you can clean without using any chemicals - just water, which is very environmentally friendly. It also saves messing about with buckets of water and also saves rinsing after cleaning. It is recommended that it should not be used on high gloss or polished surfaces such as polished wood. It should also not be used on stainless steel. If you use it for dishwashing you must rinse it thoroughly. I found it very effective for cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen. I also used it for washing down painted walls. It removed grubby marks, particularly marks made by the dog. I also used it to remove marks on the vinyl flooring in my porch. Although there is a door mat inside the front door there were lots of dirty marks on the floor, most of which had proved impossible to remove even using my steam mop. This scourer did not remove these marks completely but it did improve the situation. I am planning to repaint a bedroom shortly and I intend to use this scourer to wash down the walls before painting. This is the kind of task which it excels at. Altogether this is an inexpensive and useful aide for many cleaning jobs. One note of caution - do not use it on stainless steel. I used it on my new stainless steel sink and it scratched it. It appears to be much rougher than it actually feels.

Very effective cleaning, but the sponge disintegrates on non-rounded corners.
These sponges are very effective at removing grime and marks. I wouldn’t describe them as scourers – they are nothing like those green-sided rough pads - because they are quite soft. I applied gentle pressure to kitchen units, gloss paintwork and UPVC and there was no damage to the surfaces.Using warm water only, I tested one sponge on the lower corner of our kitchen/hall door. This is where all three of our cats rub themselves on the paintwork, and a dark oily mark forms. Unfortunately, a big chunk at one end of the sponge tore off - and I hadn’t used force or undue pressure! I also used it on the bottom frame of our sliding French windows, where dark marks accumulate on the runners. Again, results were very good. Little effort was needed to remove the dirt, no damage was done to the UPVC, but bits of the sponge littered the floor. I binned that sponge – lifespan less than an hour – and used a new one for the bathroom. I live in a hard water area, so the bath, sink and surfaces can be hard to clean. Credit where it’s due, using water alone, all the surfaces were left gleaming, with very little effort, and the sponge remained intact. Conclusion:For cleaning smooth or rounded surfaces, these sponges are very effective. However, be prepared for total disintegration if you use it for cleaning straight corners of doors/units, the top of radiators, or any surface that is not smoothly curved. If Scotch-Brite made the sponges more robust, then I would certainly buy them; meanwhile, I’ll stick to my E-cloths. Torn between a two and a three star rating, I award it three for the bathroom results.

Great result but not very durable.
I found this to be really effective in cleaning around my kitchen and bathroom. The job was much quicker. I do not think they will last as long as my more usual sponges with abrasive green backs but they do a better and quicker job. So the only tradeoff is the durability, particularly of the white side which showed signs of wear after one session. So if you are not bothered by a regular rebuy I recommend them.

Works well but not sure what it has got in it.
This does clean well, using just water on the white side, which slowly wears away. This means they did have a reasonably short life, unlike a straight cloth. The packet also has a very large range of cautions on surfaces not to use it on. For something that is chemical free, this does confuse me a bit - why all the warnings?Overall works very well though.
