OUTSTANDING PRODUCT
The unit arrived promptly and was well packed. The cord between the solar collector and the light was long enough to allow for multiple positions on the roof to enable the best possible location for optimum sun exposure. The unit was easy to install and the instructions were adequate. The light has multiple settings for how much light you want, all controlled by the remote. I found the remote would work from at least 15 feet from a side access location. It would not work through glass, but opening the sliding door it worked flawlessly. I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it. I can now grill outside on my deck after dark, with light to see what I am doing. Since it gets dark early in winter this is a wonderful product to have. No necessity to run wires, a problem when dealing with brick and difficult access to an electric location, and it is FREE electricity.

good light, bad remote control
***Second Edit - 8/18/19Seller stepped up and sent a new remote control to replace the defective one. Everything works well now and I would definitely recommend this light as it is easy to install and brightens up a large space.**EDIT 7/28/19** The seller will be sending a new remote so hopefully it will work. I'll update the review further when it arrives.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Original review...The light and solar panel were easy to install and the amount of light it gives is perfect for my use, but the remote doesn't seem to work. The on/off power button doesn't work, and the timer buttons do not work. Basically, it comes on at dark and stays on until the sun comes up. I bought it because I wanted to turn it on and off manually with the remote but that's not happening. Customer service is lacking - I understand English is not their first language, but their response to my concern doesn't offer much help. I'm sure I'll end up replacing it with a different light soon.

Richarm Solar LED Flood Light is a great light for mailbox address signs
I had just put up a new post mounted mailbox at the end of my driveway and got an Amazon delivery at 3 a.m. and realized it would be helpful visitors and delivery folks to identify our driveway after dark. This light was the best value I could find in terms of function and cost, and has been in operation for 6 months. We live in woods and took a while for me to hang the solar panel where it could get sunlight so I used rechargeable cell phone external batteries to power the light. It turned out that the light control cannot be set to Auto when external power is provided, so I had to manually turn it on at dusk and off at dawn until I put. up the solar panel and could leave the control set to Auto. Now, I can go out at 4 a.m. and see the mailbox sign from the street. Two tools were helpful to me for assessing locations for the solar panel.Xiwai 5V USB Female to DC Power Jack 5.5 2.1mm Charge Adpter Cable for Cell Phone batteryKlein Tools ET900 USB Power Meter, USB-A Digital Meter for Voltage, Current. These enable the measurement of solar panel output to an external battery before running the power cable to the floodlight.Note, the owners manual rightly states that the floodlight must be aimed upward to prevent water leakage from rain. I mounted the floodlight near the base of the mailbox post. We have gotten a lot of rain here in Maryland this year and the floodlight is dry inside.Update: Richarm Solar Flood Lights Outdoor Remote Control Solar Power Led Lights 10W 500LM 25 LEDs IP65 Waterproof Solar Wall Lamp has been in lighting my mailbox pole for 3 years for about 6 hours a night until this month when it dropped down to just a couple hours. That's over 1,000 charge cycles. The solar panel may need washed or It may be time for new batteries. In any case, I think I got may money's worth.

Great for my horse barn.
This floodlight has performed well for over a year. I use it on the horse farm to provide light in a run-in shed that does not have electricity. It's durable, holding up to the Maine winter. I think it took 15 minutes to install the entire assembly, including drilling the hole for the cord. The lamp itself is in the interior of the shed, up high so that the horse can't get to it. I absolutely must rely on the remote control to turn it on and off. The remote had been reliable until it just stopped working, even after replacing the battery. I contacted the Richarm Amazon store. After letting them know that I just wanted to buy a new remote, they sent me TWO new style remotes with batteries, for free. This is excellent customer service! The replacement remotes work perfectly.I've recommended this floodlight to others and would buy it again if I needed to. The customer service is great, also. If you have a question or a problem, contact the Richarm store and they will take care of it.

Remote is junk, does not work as advertised, but a good light itself
The light itself was pretty neat and it charges well. My issue is that the remote does not work. The on/off buttons do not work. And the auto shut off does not work. It comes on when dark, stays on all night, goes off at any light, which is neat...BUT...NOT the reason I bought it. I needed the remote and the ability to shut it off after 2 or 4 hours automatically. Also, it says the remote does not need to see the light itself, but it has to be pointed DIRECTLY at the light to even register.I would have liked just a new remote, but the Amazon chat person made it seem the whole item has to go back. I'm calling in the morning to speak to a live person. The light and panel are great, durable metal quality. But the remote is very flimsy, and a very junky plastic. Does not work as advertised, but if you are looking for just a dusk to dawn light, then this could work for you.
