This speaker is tremendous. I am not a hardcore audiophile but definitely have a good ear and experience with speakers over the years. I love my tech and am fussy with my gadgets. I've yet to see such excellent sound quality in a device this compact. Value for money is next to none at <£100. Connectivity is solid in that it instantly connects to phone, range could be a bit better as 5+ metres away the sound quality really drops. App regular updates for speaker amazing, optimising performance etc. App itself stands out. Lightweight, clean, simple, entirely optional and does what it says, ie no placebo EQ nonsense you get on cheap kit. Love the battery care mode at 90% is the kind of touch I wish more brands bothered with, keeps the cell healthy and you barely notice the difference day to day.Build is solid, this is a product designed to last. Loud enough to wind the neighbours up and still clean at the top, no harsh distortion when pushed. Vocals are right, bass decent and can be enhanced with push of a button. For the price I struggle to think what beats it. First Sony speaker, won’t be the last.

I brilliant device absolutely has advertised, easy to tune to Bluetooth and the sound is as best I've heard. I certainly recommend it and cheap at the price.

Exactly what i was looking for..not massive, great sound, powerfull and clear with good bass. Plus it has an app that can make you play a little bit with some great features ,.

Absolutely made up with this Speaker, slightly bigger than I was expecting but wow it certainly gives a punch with sound quality and ease of use. Very happy.

Fantastic sound from such a small device, it definitely punches above its weight. I would recommend, but for some reason it doesn’t come with a charging adapter. It does come with a USB lead but it needsd a bit of sorting to be able to charge the device, but worth it in the end

It has a good sound and bass. There is an app to alter settings for the speaker. I would happily recommend this.

I wanted something unobtrusive that would allow me to play vinyls on my Sony stereo unit, and deliver the sound into a room adjacent to the one where the stereo (and cable-linked speakers) are located. I had to purchase an ORIA Bluetooth transmitter/receiver to convert the stereo unit's headphone socket output to Bluetooth, but the combination does exactly what I wanted - and the sound quality and volume are excellent. Highly recommended!

Como alguien que viaja constantemente por trabajo, entre conferencias, eventos y exposiciones, he probado decenas de altavoces Bluetooth con la esperanza de encontrar uno que verdaderamente se adapte a mis exigencias: calidad de sonido, resistencia, autonomía y portabilidad real. Lo primero que noté al sacarlo de la caja fue su robustez. No es el altavoz más ligero que he tenido (pesa poco más de 1 kg), pero se nota sólido, bien construido, y el acabado transmite confianza. La correa desmontable para el hombro no es solo estética: realmente hace más cómodo el transporte cuando llevo mochila, portátil y equipo de presentación al hombro. Su tamaño es compacto (aproximadamente 24 cm de largo), y cabe sin problema en la mochila junto al portátil. Lo llevé recientemente a una presentación en Madrid y tenía que mostrar un vídeo con sonido ambiental y efectos para ilustrar una experiencia inmersiva. Conecté el altavoz al portátil por Bluetooth (la conexión fue estable y rápida) y activé el modo ULT. El salto de calidad fue inmediato. Los graves cobraron una profundidad que llenó la sala sin necesidad de subir el volumen al máximo, y las voces se mantuvieron claras gracias al equilibrio del tweeter. Este modo ULT no es marketing vacío: el sonido se siente más envolvente y con una presión acústica considerable para su tamaño aunque en mi opinión le falten un punto de agudos. El ecualizador de la app Sony Sound Connect me permitió ajustar los agudos y medios a mi gusto. En una habitación de hotel más pequeña, por ejemplo, suelo bajar un poco los graves para evitar saturaciones, algo que con muchos otros altavoces no puedo hacer sin sacrificar calidad. Por cierto, nada más emparejarlo con su app, me pidió para actualizar su firmware y me sorprendió que incluía una función tipo DJ para meter efectos sonidos durante la reproducción. En cuanto a autonomía, cumple lo prometido y me ha gustado la función de carga rápida (2 horas de música por solo 10 minutos de carga) mediante cable USB-C incluido. Sin duda un gran compañero de eventos, fiestas y viajes!
