My daughter did a lot of research on hip/joint products for dogs.Her dog had ACL surgery & a rough recovery. I have ordered another brand for a while. Then my daughter told me that green lipped mussels are the best ingredients for dogs joint health. Our dogs are 10 & almost 11. They run around the yard without any issues.

I have noticed significant improvements in my dog's joint health since starting him on this supplement (less lame, less limping unless he overdoes it). I also give him bone broth and UC-II collagen, and SAMe to keep his senior joints moving.

I’ve had products with green lipped mussels before, but this is very fishy smelling. When I add it to my dog’s food, he won’t eat it, so it was a waste of money for me.

And Amazon said it couldn't be returned, even though the product page said it has a 30 return policy. I had to get in contact with an Amazon associate before they would give me a refund. I had been giving my elderly dog a 100% green lipped mussel powder by Super Snouts for nearly a year. It was working astoundingly well, within a few weeks of him using it, he could go up and down stairs again, was more playful, and had stopped yelping in pain and holding up his leg at random times in the day, and even the night. I definitely should have stuck with that. But I saw this one, and that it had mushrooms and other ingredients that should also be beneficial for him. So I decided to try it rather than ordering Super Snouts. Big Mistake. One week after switching him to this, he started having pains again with the heart wrenching yelping and holding his leg in the air. And then I had to go through the extra effort of getting in touch with an Amazon associate to get it refunded, rather than being able to use the regular Amazon return method, even though the product page says that it is returnable within 30 days, and I was trying to return it 9 days after receiving it. Since Amazon doesn't make it easy to get in touch with an associate, I'm sure lots of people would just see the message that this product isn't returnable, and would just say goodbye to their money, even though it doesn't do what it says it will do.
