Giant Old Fashioned Taffy 24ct.

They all tasked the same and the taste was kind of strange, not a flavor that seemed to Match the color and that was only after 30 minutes of removing the wax paper wrapping.

this candy has expired it does not taste good. I would like a refund but I can not get one.. then at least send. me fresh candy.

Taffy was sticking to wrapper. Just as others had described. However, I put some in refrigerator, some in freezer. Both methods worked well. The frozen ones still unwrapped easily even after coming completely back to room temp. The taffy doesn’t really freeze. It just gets a little stiffer. My only gripe is that 2 of my favorite flavors are not in this variety pack.

Not good, nothing like I remember. It could be the flavors I received are not the same flavors I had as a kid. I wish there was more variety to the mix I received. Some of the taffy seemed a bit stale or off. A few were a wet or or stale texture not the same consistency as taffy. I really wanted to like them and to send a few to my brother for old times sake, I ended up to embarrassed to send them to him, he might think I found a old dusty one on a shelf somewhere. I will order salt water taffy instead. Sigh.

I thought it was just me, but seeing the last review regarding stomach problems after eating the taffy, I agree! I thought it was just me, but it's sad to know other people have suffered discomfort from consuming this taffy. I was so happy when it arrived. I had ordered it once before and had no issues. But this time, I ate 1 and that night I was in stomach pain all night. I thought it was something else. Well, I ate another taffy and that night I was in the bathroom all night wondering how I was going to make it to work that morning. My experience may be unique but after seeing a review where they experienced the same discomfort as me, I felt it necessary to also write a review to share my horrible experience.

Arrived somewhat melted and even after getting to room temp, I'm unable to peel off the wrap. I also tried freezing it which helped a bit.

No flavor , highly over priced, stuck to wrapper after frozen. Pure garbage so that's where I put it. Can't believe Amazon would charge so much for something I had to throw in the garbage. Very disappointed will have second thoughts before making another purchase from Amazon.

This product is exactly as I remember it as an adolescent in the 70's. Once you get past the first couple of pieces, you will find different flavors for each color, red and white for Cherry, purple and white for grape, and yellow and white for banana. Other color combinations have different flavors, some hard to identify but all good. If the weather is a bit warm, the wax paper can be a little hard to separate from the taffy. Quick Fix - stick them in the refrigerator for a two minutes and the paper will come off easily. Makes a great treat for kids. Adults, watch out for the expensive dental work. This taffy is the real stuff. Enjoy!
