I'm an audiophile and can honestly say this speaker has blown me away... I'm usually playing with EQs for days getting a speaker spot on...not this time it's superb right out the box. I'm mainly using it for pairing to my garden movie set up and vocals and explosions are really clear. Also for indoor work outs and the bass line is sweet...hits nice sub lows and clear trebles. 5 star ...buy one

Well made and weighty speaker. Easy connection to devices. Good battery life but doesn't have the oomph i was expecting based on the marketing. Nice and convenient to use camping etc, but the sound wouldn't replace even a low end hi-fi set up.**UPDATE** We've had the speaker for a few months now and have improved the sound by using the Sony app instead of the ULT button to access the graphic equaliser settings....... sounds much better.

Very good nice clear sound

I found it really surprising that this was a frequent returned product. I done some research before and watched a good few reviews on YouTube before buying the Sony ULT 5. I found this to be an excellent product. Sounds excellent when placed in the correct surroundings. Thanks Amazon resale and thanks Sony for another excellent product.

Superb sound

Excellent sound quality and easy to set up, also easy to pair with a similar speaker.

Brilliant sound as you’d expect from Sony. Great quality, bit weighty although expected for something of this size, carrying strap supplied takes care of that though.

Very hollow sound and the woofers are limited by a mediocre DSP, if you play it between 50% to 85% volume, bass is present but not punchy. Ult mode is let down by bad DSP. Not recommend purchase for people who expected a traditional Sony Sound. You are better off buying other brands.

Per quanto mi riguarda è una cassa Bluetooth davvero ottima. La qualità del suono è eccellente, con un audio corposo, potente e piacevole da ascoltare sia a basso che ad alto volume. È perfetta da usare in casa e, all'occorrenza, da portare anche all'esterno. Il laccio in dotazione è comodo, ma personalmente non lo sfrutto molto perché la cassa ha un peso che si fa sentire durante il trasporto. Per il resto, nulla da dire: prodotto di qualità che consiglio.

Moin ....nachdem ich nun nach intensiver Recherche 6 Bluetooth-Boxen bis 150,- € max. getestet habe, bin ich nun mit dem Ergebnis absolut zufrieden. Ich bin kein Profi in diesem Bereich, sondern nur normaler Nutzer. Super Box mit absolut sattem Sound, tollem Design und einer hochwertigen Verarbeitung. Ich möchte Euch nur die Zeit ersparen bei der Suche. Ich empfehle Euch gleich diese Box. Also....klare Kaufempfehlung.....

Loved it. Sony never fails you

J'ai commandé ce produit une première fois, mais je n'avais jamais eu l'occasion de le tester à un volume plus élevé qu'à bas niveau, en raison de l'isolation sonore de mon appartement. Je l'ai donc re-commandé une seconde fois, ce qui m'a permis de tester le son à un volume plus élevé. Et, clairement, pour son prix et sa qualité sonore, ainsi que ses basses présentes et bien équilibrées, j'ai décidé de le conserver comme enceinte portable et d'intérieur. De plus, son jeu de lumière constitue un atout supplémentaire, ce qui renforce mon appréciation pour ce produit.
