We've Tatted Our Kids for Years!
I've used SafetyTats on my kids for over five years now and love that I can find them on Amazon (with free shipping on Prime)! We don't travel without them--and I also use them when we are going to big events (such as State Fairs), where my kids will be in the crush of crowds. They are very easy to apply and I've found that they stay on for quite some time as long as you make sure the skin to which you apply the tat is clean/dry (use the alcohol wipe that's provided). The tats stay on for quite some time--for our kids, usually at least 5-7 days, though some even longer, as long as we don't allow the kids to pick at them or scrub the tats hard when the kids bathe. We use sunscreen and body lotion with them and have no problem with either.. Typically, my kids ask for a change in tattoo before the tattoos come off on their own; kids love the design. If you have some residual stickiness (like you might with an adhesive bandage) when you take the tats off, you can use alcohol to help remove that gunk. If you are peeling the tats off before they unstick themselves, make sure to hold the skin so it doesn't pull. The skin under the tat will look wrinkly when you take the tat off, but that goes away.As long as you have a relatively steady hand, it's easy to write on the labels. There's ample space. I am able to write both my and my husband's mobile numbers on the tats in a large enough print to be read easily (and can indicate the numbers are for "Mom" and "Dad"). The tats come in different themes and I believe we may have tried all over the years. My kids (and their cousins) love them all an enjoy choosing their respective tats. (One of our vacation/travel kick-off processes is getting out the tats, having the kids choose theirs, and making sure the tats are on before we even leave our home.) My kids say they feel safer with them (even my son, who has various phone numbers memorized.) Years ago, we also trained our kids to look for employees of a given amusement park/event/venue and ask for help in phoning us via the tats, if we are ever separated, and make sure to take a look for such key people whenever we are out at an event/venue/park. (Thankfully, that hasn't been needed.) We have had many, many people--including workers at parks like Legoland and Disneyland--take note of the tats and remark about them being a great tool. Parents and grandparents we know, and some that simply see our kids using the tats, have even asked for information so they can purchase the tats for children in their families. The tats also keep well--i.e., we have bought a bunch and used them a year or two after purchase without a problem. This makes me especially happy because I like to keep them "in stock" in our home and would hate to buy some, have too many, and then see my money go in the trash with tats that lose their stick (or pens that lose their ink) quickly. This is an EXCELLENT product and, on Amazon (especially Prime), typically a great value. Get it and help keep the kids in your life safe in a cute, easy way!

Unfortunately upset.
Bought these for some peace of mind at the beach. Within 30 minutes the ink was running off the tattoo so you couldn’t read the phone number. An hour later- tattoo gone. And this was on both kids following the included instructions.

These are a great back-up, especially when we go somewhere that poses ...
These products give us a little more peace of mind when we head out into crowded venues, airports, etc. Our child is a toddler. We are working hard on safety skill s (like name, mommy and daddy's names, and who the "helper people" are) -- and we are careful about holding hands, etc. But face it, a toddler's communication skills are still developing. These are a great back-up, especially when we go somewhere that poses a little more risk of separation than a trip to the supermarket. We have found that with a littler child, the upper arm is a reasonable spot to put one on (she doesn't notice them there as much) and we cheat and apply them while she's napping. They last a few days and come off easily when we want them to. The only drawback is that it is not as easy as I would like to write legibly on the SafetyTat tattoo after application -- it would be nice to be able to do the writing BEFORE putting it on her. But that could be solved by ordering the personalized version in the future. Great product!

MUST HAVE!
These tattoos stay on for days! Even through sun, sea, pool, sweat. I had a scare with my adventurous 4yo in the airport, and in that moment of great fear not knowing where my child was, knowing he was wearing this made me feel better like there was that much more of a chance for us being reunited. He had went to watch planes at the windows and we found him but YES- BUY THIS FOR SAFETY!

Complete waste off money
These were awful. They are much thicker than regular temporary tattoos and my children were able to peel them off quite easily. After two days, 2 out of 4 of my kids developed itchy rashes beneath the tattoos (it wasn't particularly hot, humid, or sunny where we were). I ended up just using a sharpie to write my cell number on their arms in the end, which lasted longer and didn't cause a rash.

Just use a waterproof bandaid and sharpie
I bought these for a trip to Disney. I was really worried about my 3 year old getting away from us and I thought this was perfect. But...They were less effective than a waterproof bandaid and a sharpie. My 6 year old left his alone so it stayed on for about a day and a half. Although it's rather large and took up half his forearm. My 3 year old's lasted a couple hours. And that was after the marker smeared all over her from sunscreen getting on it.

Easy to use and last for awhile
We used these on our kids when we went to Disney World. They lasted for over a week even even after days in the Sun and evenings in the pool.

ehhhh. it's ok . purchased for Disney
it really does stay on and doesn't come off- but it's very thick like a piece of thick tape nad my son (3 yo) - hated it - I had to bribe him with everything under the sun to please leave it on and he did - held up in swimming pool and the sweat of Disneyworld. I am not sure I will use again though - didn't give me the piece of mind I thought it would
