Solid wood. The cherry is beautiful, slightly darker than the product images which I liked. You can see seams where the wood was pieced together in photos. I HATE cam-lock furniture - never buy all cam lock cheap particle board stuff. The only part of this piece that is cam locked is the top. Easily solvable if they unscrew which I doubt ever happens with weight on top. Overall great piece for $200. Simple and clean

I've had the product for about three weeks now. It holds a 48" LED (slim bezel) television weighing approximately 25 pounds on its top shelf and a series of smaller items on its two lower shelves. Also on the lowest shelf I've placed a 30 pound (beefy) stereo amplifier. My concerns were two: would the unit be able to hold the aforementioned weights without the shelves warping and would it look good enough to match some pricier furniture that would surround it. In short, yes, and rather well.The shelves are wide, but not deep. My amp is 14 inches deep and it fits precisely on the bottom shelf without protruding from the front. If the amp's support legs were spaced any further out it would not have fit. If the amp was just 1/2 inch wider it would have hit the unit's rear support beam and not have fit. Make sure you measure very well what you plan on placing before you purchase. That being said, none of the shelves have bent and they feel sturdy enough to continue to properly hold the weight for (hopefully) a very long time. Bear in mind that while the unit is sturdy, the minimalistic design does mean it has very few support points, and if you are going to move it around, you'd best do it carefully.The unit is almost handsome. It has the look of units costing four times as much. Granted, it's a very simple unit. Three shelves and that's it. But the manufacturer has managed to make it appear much higher-end than one would expect at its price point. As you may expect, however, the wood used in the unit is not in any way a hardwood; I suspect pine or similar, and if you put something on the shelves that has anything but a flat surface you may make an indentation on the wood. I ended up making a small one while being careful with what I was placing. But then, again, at this price point, I cannot currently complain, my comment here is just a heads-up.Lastly, upon inspecting the parts that came in the package I realized that two small brackets that serve to reinforce a back panel attachment were missing. While perhaps possible to find them at a local hardware store, it would have been quite the complication to get some with the required measurements. I decided to build the unit anyway, but asked a question here on Amazon as to replacement parts. Initially it seemed as if getting such would not be possible. But I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from casualhome-dot-com asking for my purchase information. One quick email back to them and about 10 days later I had the two small brackets in my mailbox. Excellent service! Note that it seems impossible to figure out who actually sells the product; there's no immediate web presence.Bear in mind the price you are paying, and you'll likely by very happy with what you end up putting together.

Hello all,I was a bit hesitant on making this purchase, and all my expectations were exceeded. The tv stand was super easy to assemble, very good quality, wood is real. A must buy.. highly recommend it

Very solid, and uses great materials. All 100% real wood. Definitely recommended!

Excellent quality wood, finish is perfect. Incredibly deep shine and wood grain looks great. Few of the holes lined up during assembly, and one of the locking pins pulled out of the wood a few days after I put it together. I fixed it with a wood screw. The stand wobbles more than I expected, but I have no problem putting my 55 inch TV on it.

Easy quick assembly, Packaged very securely to prevent damage. So Happy with this purchase.

The box arrived with minor dings but everything was packed extremely well and none of the pieces were damaged. It only took me several minutes to confirm all the pieces were received and that I understood the directions.Once that was complete, I assembled the TV stand all by myself! The stand is very sturdy, and the Cherry wood grain and coloring is as expected. It is a beautiful modern and contemporary design.I am very happy with the quality and price point!
