In spite of being out of his age range, it is surprisingly easy to operate. About 3 days after he opened it he accidentally landed it on our roof where it stayed for 2 weeks and several rainstorms. Needless to say he was devastated. On a windy day it came down and after removing and discarding the battery that was wet it miraculously fired up and works like new.
