Not as funny as I hoped
Typical English humor, but I hoped for more. It'a a "meh"

Light, farcical comedy - well written and acted. Very entertaining!! Be sure you can play Region 2 PAL on your DVD.

All three comedies.
Saw the first comedy on TV and immediately decided to buy it. A true delight. All actors firing on all cylinders!! Bought the set on Amazon. Second comedy poor - lacked the sparkle of the first due to some of the new characters who didn't quite gel . The third comedy however clawed its way back and was very watchable sadly still not in the same league as the first.A missed opportunity here for a series - provided the same cast as the initial comedy could be hired.George Murphy = a revelation. His performances here illustrate how inhibiting "George and Mildred" were for this talented actor. He is truly a delight here!!
