Great color and fit...!!!

I had intended to send this back after receipt, because I've been stuck in dropship limbo for too long! It promised delivery on three different occasions but then when I try to get information and there was none! However it finally arrived and contrary to what a lot of the negative reviews said, it fit fine without having to wet it and stretch it. It was a bit of the tight fit getting the dowels in place, but nothing like getting the old ones out! And the top/back fit fine also, although I did have a little bit of trouble putting one of the sides over the post, because it was quite the tight fit and seemed to be slightly different than the other side? I don't know about the longevity or the color fastness, but it's not intended for outdoor use, and the fabric seem to be nearly as thick if not as thick as the canvas that had been on that chair for over 20 years, that finally dry rotted. I would definitely buy these again if I were in the market, but for now I'm set, and I'm fairly happy except for the ridiculous shipping scenario, which they need to get a handle on if they want to stay in business. There was no excuse for it, and none given!

Still holding up 6 or 7 years later. Little fade. Zero stretch or fraying. Worth getting since new chairs like this are pretty expensive! We sit on them all the time too!

Seat piece not quite cut properly. There is strength in the double seam but it is 1/2 inch extra wide in one corner. One should have a standard and if a product does not meet the qualifications, it is not offered for sale. I did not contact the seller but I am not happy for the price. The fabric is lovely and strong

I bought these after much research and they proved to be WINNERS! The installation was exactly as described but what caused me pause was I did measure exactly as they suggested, and these came up just a hair short. They did install but it took awhile for them to stretch enough for the locking mechanisms between the chair legs to fully extend. they were usable immediately but I was glad to se the material stretched over time to make the linkage lock. VERY happy to make use of my director chairs again and would only order this brand if I ever needed any more.

Ordered this for work. Great replacement item

I was really excited about this item. I have an event I need the directors chair for today. I paid for expedited shipping to get it today. The material is attractive, much thinner than my original seat cover. I followed the directions on the packaging which says to put it on the chair wet and then stretch. I tried this for 4 hours. The comments from the seller say put it on wet and sit on it to stretch. That was not a wise suggestion because the round dowels do not successfully secure the seat cover. I fell thru the chair. Today I have a bruise on my thigh. It is about an inch and a 1/2 too short.The round dowels will not stay securely in in side of chair when the flat dowel indentation is. If this item was not ready to use immediately, the seller should have indicated this in the product information. I would not have purchased it and spent extra money on shipping. Photos show how I could not open the chair with the seat cover on (While it was Wet) even after trying to stretch it for hours. I have NEVER left a negative review like this for any Amazon product before. That is how disappointed I am. I wish I would have read the reviews of this product before buying it, many others had the same complaint.
