PETFLEXRed Cohesive Pet Bandages 5cm. Dog, Cat

I brought this product for my cat because he has a scar on his belly that he likes to gnaw on & scratch.Hoping this bandage would let the injury heal & protect from my cat scratching it, we wrapped the bandagearound the area.It looked fine at first, but then my cat would lick & gnaw the bandage, & it ended up rolling up like rope& digging into my cats belly...The problem is is that the bandages roll up on themselves because of the self adhesive aspect,so they end up more like a rope than a bandage. I appreciate that a cats belly is soft & thereforean awkward place to put a bandage on, but this product didn't help at all.I think that this product may be good or something like a dog's limb or on a more sustainable area of an animal,but even then, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Very disappointed in product. Self adhesion poor and not giving firmness. `Rolls smaller than expected. Poor value for money. Better vfm at Tesco

I don't own any pets, but this stuff is the best thing in the world for wrapping around microphones instead of expensive and short-lived foam mic-socks. It's cheap, easy to look after, and easy to fit with excellent sound transmission. I'm a pilot and use it on my headsets.Brilliant stuff - but I have no idea if it's any good on pets. Sorry.
