I ordered this case in cognac brown and it is a beautiful piece of leather made to precisely fit the iPhone. I've had it since February and it's held up well for the most part. One thing for certain is that the more I use it, the softer the leather gets and feels. It gives the appearance of an old broken in leather bound book. BUT, potential buyers must be aware that this case should not be mistaken for one that will provide total protection for the phone. It looks and feels great, it will prevent one's phone screen from getting scratched and dusty, but if the phone is dropped onto a hard surface from, say,waist high or better, the phone's casing and/or screen will sustain some form of damage. In addition to the case, I've kept a tempered glass screen protector on my phone which has protected the screen. Had I not had it, my phone's glass display would be broken. Instead, I have cracks in my screen protector, which is what it's designed to do. After I replace the screen protector, my phone will look new again. I should mention also that the magnetic closure keeps the case cover securely closed until opened.In summation, this leather case from KAVAJ is gorgeous, functional and a real conversation piece. I've received numerous compliments on it! I highly recommend this case in addition to a tempered glass screen protector.

As much as I loved my Kavaj Miami phone cases (I bought one for each of three iPhones), I was getting tired of sliding the phone out of the case in order to use it. And when out of the case, it was vulnerable to damage from droppng. So I decided to replace the Miami with the Dallas. I am pleased that I can now leave the phone in the case while using it, but I must say that the Dallas case just doesn't have the nice, solid feel of the Miami. The front cover is thinner than I expected and I hope that the plastic holder for the phone is strongly impact resistant. I have only dropped my phone a couple of times, but it would only take one drop landing on a corner to result in disaster. I still like this case, and it really looks nice--very luxurious appearance. I am also concerned about reports of early disintegration from some of the other reviews.

Have purchased products from KAVAJ for a few of my other Apple devices, and this case is no different. The leather is high quality, the case fit the phone perfectly, and the buttons/ports are not obstructed in any way. My only gripe is that I had mistakenly thought the design of the 6+ case would be the same as the iPhone 5 case (the product description is not misleading, just my comprehension skills) that I felt protected the top/bottom edges of the phone a little better. Other than this minor complaint, the case is great and I would have no issues recommending it to anyone.Additionally, I requested a refund on the case when I received the product and discovered the design had changed slightly from the previous model. Not only was the refund issued promptly, I was not even required to send the product back. Kudos to KAVAJ for the exemplary (and undeserved in my case) customer service. I will plan on purchasing more of their products in the future.

Got tired of cheap "PU" and other "Leather" cases and was pleasantly surprised by this affordable and well made case. We had a cheap PU case and in less than 2 months, it already started ripping.This case features a solid clip "box" that holds the phone, most cheap cases make this part out of thin plastic that can easily crack or let go of the phone. This clip is rigid and actually kind of tough to remove the phone from.The leather is of decent accessory grade leather and is smooth to the touch but arrived a bit dry and inflexible. I applied some neatsfoot oil and it is now supple and took on a darker coloring.The card holder is on the back which might look funny with the cover closed but actually makes sense when you're talking on the phone and your credit cards are not exposed. So far, the fit has been great with no issues blocking the camera and flash.

I was hesitant to purchase this case as it had significantly less reviews than the other "dandy" case I decided to buy. Boy am I glad I bought this as the other case looks and felt terrible due to the poor quality glossy-finished leather, is significantly thicker and cheaper looking, and has a completely useless wallet system.THIS PRODUCT IS BEAUTIFUL. The "unboxing" process was actually an unbagging process as the case came in a color-printed small bag. That didn't make a great first impression, but I opened the bag to reveal the tissue-paper wrapped (and sealed) case. It was a nice touch. Then I broke the seal and opened the case and was pleasantly surprised by the softness of the leather. It feels (and smells) like a high quality leather wallet with a soft matte finish. Rather than a leather overlay over a standard clear plastic casing, the fitted case is leather-clad; it fits snugly on my iPhone 6+ and looks sharp.I like cases that keep the screen protected at all times and like the idea of consolidating my wallet and phone, however, on other cases I tried, the wallet features are on the inside of the cover (where the screen faces) and typically putting even one card or more than a few bills keeps the covers from closing completely - not so with this case as the card slots are on the back, keeping the cover in place.There is one thing that I might change about this case, though: there is no speaker opening on the front of this case this is is more difficult to hear when using is with the cover closed (as is typical with these types of cases), hence the 4-star review. I'll be looking for someone who will cut a small opening to make this a perfect case for me. I WILL purchase more.

Very sensitive to oil and stains. Can only be cleaned with leather products as dye will run. Product looks well when broken in. Stitching on case beginning to unravel. Worth the extra money for leather despite this, very lightweight and thin which is nice and soft to touch.

I bought my first Kavaj case two years ago and now won't buy anything else. I've also converted everyone in my household and we now have about six - one for every gadget! Why...? Because they look great, fit perfectly, last ages and are made of proper, real, genuine leather - unlike the PU rubbish that so many sellers try to pass off as 'genuine leather'. Absolutely 100% worth the money. This case in particular is amazingly light and neat - it adds no noticeable extra bulk or weight to my iPhone 6 plus. (Which is a relief because it's a huge phone already!)

After researching cases for a little while anticipating that I would yet again need a wallet case for holding several back cards etc, I came across the Kavaj Dallas case in many online reviews with a good rating. It's different to cases I've had previously due to the card inserts being on the rear of the case rather than the inside. this at first was a little odd but if I'm honest i think its actually great. Here's my first impressions and a little insight as although its not marketed as a case you can stand to watch movies or content, it is actually possible:1: Great Quality Leather with smooth inside fabric which closes smoothly with a magnetic strip (a little like a iPad smart case) without the wake sleep function.2: The card holders are marketed with one card and notes, however I have managed to fit 4 cards 2 in each slot (I rarely carry cash those days anyway)3: The case is a snug fit and protect the corners pretty well, there are good strips of the phone exposed on the top and bottom of the handset, but unless you drop your phone on unveil ground, I can't see that being a problem.4: The cover folds back OK for using the camera, although naturally you almost want to use the sleep wake button as the shutter due to the way the flap closes (it's not a bad thing, may just take a little getting used to).5: The case protecter does actually feel as good as if not better than the official apple iPhone 6 cases.I last had an iPhone 5, and during the 2 year contract I had 2 wallet cases, this is cheaper than the two cases put together, however with it being made to a far better quality, I'm confident it will last as long as the contract and even get passed on with the phone beyond.All in all, a great quality case and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
