Cleans but doesn't really restore.
My first impression was that this stuff really works. I sprayed it onto a golf grip and wiped it off as instructed. A lot of dirt came off, and the grip felt nice and tacky. I was very pleased, but not for long. The tackiness only lasted for a few minutes. So my conclusion is that this is pretty expensive way of merely cleaning golf grips. It doesn't really restore them at all. I will be going back to Fairy liquid!

Very expensive soapy water in a spray bottle
Seems to work OK. But not any more effective than some washing-up liquid. Very expensive for what it is (soapy water in a spray bottle).

This works wonders on old golf grips
I am a beginner golfer on a budget. I have old used clubs that i haven't changed the grips on, wrap-around style ones that seemed almost dead to me. I also had some newer grips that were seemingly a bit too dry. Geko almost immediately restored a grippy feeling tackiness to both style grips. It took fewer sprays than i thought necessary. If your grip hasn't been cleaned in a long while, then yes it may require the 4-5 sprays, but usually 2 to 4 sprays would do, and a thorough wipe down to spread (i just used my bare hands) the solution, and then waiting for it to dry, makes a tremendous difference. This is a must-get. If you use it smartly, you'll be using one bottle for a very long time. The tackiness stayed through an entire round of an executive course on a muni and still felt fresh after I got back home. I'm sure this will last for 2 or 3 rounds more until a small refresher spray or two would restore it again. This company's product does what is advertised. It is well worth the cost for the increased grip strength, stability, confidence you'll get from your game.
